want to tell you about a beautiful couple... who chose me and the Como Lake for their wonderful wedding and I want to tell you about the incredible emotion they conveyed to me a couple with Caribbean origins living in england... beautiful guys... and really much in love. I have repeatedly asked the reasons for an inconvenient choice to bring 100 inviting to Italy for their wedding and the answer has always been the same wonderful places, good weather good food and good wine. For a year they dreamed of their wedding in every single detail and when it came “the day” they enjoyed it very much! She tried to please him in every choice and he did the same. The result? magical and complicit looks, hands that clenched and whispered words. The intoxicating feeling of being surrounded by love! And to be aware that I as a destination wedding planner have contributed to everything. What an amazing job Is mine!

i voglio raccontare l’emozione che mi ha trasmesso una coppia di sposi di origine caraibica che ha scelto come cornice del proprio matrimonio il lago di Como. Due bellissimi ragazzi molto innamorati. Ho chiesto più volte da cose fosse dettata la scelta “non comoda” di portare 100 invitanti in Italia e la risposta è sempre stata…luoghi meravigliosi, tempo bello buon cibo e buon vino. Per un anno hanno sognato il loro matrimonio in ogni singolo dettaglio e quando è arrivato il “ “giorno” se lo sono goduto! Lei cercava di accontentare lui in ogni sua scelta e lo stesso ha fatto lui. Il risultato ? sguardi magici e complici, mani che si stringevano e parole sussurrate. La sensazione inebriante di essere circondati dall’amore! E avere la consapevolezza che io come destination wedding planner ho contribuito a tutto ciò. Proprio un bel lavoro il mio!

asino Caruso, is located in the heart of the Piana di Sibari, in Corigliano Calabro (CS). It was built between 1860 and 1870 and it consists of a central main cottage, that is a compact two floors building with some large surrounding trapezoidal walls in which the various functions of a pastoral-type company once took place. To the right of the big cottage there was a small area, also surrounded by walls. Once used as an animal shelter, this area has been transformed into a magnificent reception hall today, where parties, receptions and events of any kind can be held in an evocative atmosphere and an inestimable elegance. On the left side there were a circular construction, where the processing of milk products took place, and the Masseria di servizio. By consisting of rooms on several levels, the Masseria served both as accommodation for the Massaro (the principal farmer) and his workers, and as a deposit. Today the entire area has been transformed into a typical restaurant and pizzeria called Casa del Massaro. Here one can enjoy typical Calabrian dishes as well as fine food and wine specialties made by the famous chef Franco Mancuso in an environment that encompasses a thousand-year history within its walls. The Courtyard is a wide open space protected by the ancient walls of the Caruso Casino. Recently renovated, it is the core of the structure because all activities take place around them. By offering adequate seating space for more than 400 people, the Courtyard is the perfect place for events of all kinds, the swimming pool and the area dedicated to the dance floor complete the structure for events that use spaces for different moments.

l Casino Caruso, è situato nel cuore della Piana di Sibari, a Corigliano Rossano (CS) e venne costruito tra il 1860 e il 1870. È composto da un casolare principale, situato al centro della struttura e contenuto in un ampio recinto di forma trapezoidale in cui un tempo si svolgevano le varie funzioni proprie di un’azienda di tipo pastorale. A destra dell’imponente casolare vi era una piccola area protetta da un muro di cinta e un tempo destinata al rifugio degli animali. Oggi questa parte è stata trasformata in una sala ricevimenti capace di accogliere feste, rinfreschi ed eventi di qualsiasi genere in un ambiente suggestivo ed elegante. Sul lato sinistro sorgeva la “Masseria di servizio”. Costituita da locali su più livelli, che fungevano da alloggio del Massaro e dei salariati, essa era anche un deposito. Inoltre, sempre a sinistra, si intravede una costruzione circolare dove invece avveniva la lavorazione dei prodotti del latte. Oggi questa intera area è stata trasformata in un ristorante tipico con pizzeria, denominato “Casa del Massaro”, dove è possibile degustare piatti tipici calabresi ma anche pregiate specialità enogastronomiche del rinomato chef Franco Mancuso in un ambiente che racchiude nelle sue mura una storia millenaria. La corte è un ampio piazzale protetto dalle antiche mura del Casino Caruso. Ristrutturato negli ultimi anni, il piazzale rappresenta il cuore della struttura poiché attorno ad esso prendono vita tutte le attività. La corte può ospitare circa 400 persone a sedere e, per tale motivo, spesso è teatro di eventi di ogni genere, la piscina e l’area destinata al dance floor completano la struttura per eventi che utilizzano spazi per momenti differenti tra loro.

he Castle of Ramazzano, which gives the name to the town, was built in the 12th century by the family Ramazzani, to which it belonged from 1097 till the end of the 16th century. Restored in the course of time, the Castle keeps its Guelph crenallated walls, a tower, an inner courtyard with a well communicating with cellars and flats with painted rooms. Baroque oasis in the heart of Rome, in the renowned and vibrant Trastevere district, VOI Donna Camilla Savelli Hotel is housed in a 17th century convent. It was the year 1642 when Lady Camilla Savelli, a Farnese noblewoman, commissioned the convent of “Santa Maria dei Sette Dolori” and the adjoining homonymous church to Francesco Borromini, one of the most important exponent of romane baroque architecture. The unmistakable style of Borromini with his skillful use of flat, concave and convex surfaces that welcomes the guest at the arrival.The hotel owes its name to the founder of the religious institution. Following a remarkable renovation which respected the typical architectural rules of the Baroque period and the original project by Borromini, the convent was turned into a four-star hotel in 2007. 17th century oil paintinhgs, magical Baroque details, antique wooden doors and a monumental staircase introduce the guests to an elegant and exclusive setting. The rooms obtained by the cells once used by the nuns, reveal all their ancient beauty and with their decorative ceiling beams and antique furniture. They are luxurious but not sumptuous. Era il 1642 quando Camilla Savelli, nobildonna Farnese, commissionò la realizzazione del convento “Santa Maria dei Sette Dolori” e l’adiacente omonima chiesa a Francesco Borromini, insigne esponente dell’architettura barocca romana. E’ alla fondatrice dell’istituto religioso che l’Hotel, infatti, deve il suo nome. Dopo un’ impeccabile opera di restauro, nel rispetto dei canoni architettonici tipici del Barocco e del progetto originale del Borromini, il monastero ha aperto le proprie porte al mondo dell’hotellerie nel 2008. Dipinti ad olio, angoli d’arte barocca, antichi portoni lignei e una magnifica scala in marmo del ‘600 introducono l’ospite in ambienti eleganti, unici ed esclusivi. In the village of Finale Ligure, close to the beach, Hotel Punta Est was originally built as the XVIII century mansion of a musician and composer from La Scala in Milan. More than a standard hotel, it is almost like a world apart from the rest of the coast… it is a special place which preserves the charm of ancient Liguria, offering guests an exquisite, elegant and relaxing Mediterranean experience. The Villa is perched on a hillside, inside a large park overlooking the beach, among centuries old pine trees, palms and exotic plants. A different place, unique in every detail... Access is not always obvious and parking operations require some attention, but the staff service is ready to help you and an electric car is available to transport luggage. E’ più di un semplice albergo, come un mondo a parte rispetto al resto della costa … E’ un luogo particolare che conserva e custodisce il fascino di una Liguria antica e offre ai suoi ospiti qualità di vita mediterranea, eleganza e relax…. La villa è arroccata all’interno di un grande parco affacciato sulla spiaggia, tra imponenti pini secolari, piante esotiche e palme di varie specie. It grows out of the deepest traditions reaching the heart of nature. Radicepura is a park born out of the dreams of one man, Venerando Faro, who has found an outlet for all of his experience in the field of international nursery gardening. Which is embodied in 5 hectares, 3000 plants species, the seed factory and hospitality areas for conferences or private events. This is a testament to the skills of the Sicilian craftsmen who built The Palazzo, a country house with all the comforts of its time. To emphasize, there are the painted ceilings in the reception rooms and the white stone mantelpieces sculpted by hand. The Scuderie del Barone boasts a fine column carved in lava stone. The Baron’s Stables with the lava stone colonnade. The main floor, representing the charm of the aristocratic salons of the time, is composed of 5 rooms where it is possible to host up to 70 people.

he elegant Ballroom, decorated for a wedding in 1652, can be set up for 200 people, for lunch or dinner and it can be the ideal place for cutting the wedding cake. During the summer, the wonderful Veranda and the garden invite guests to enjoy the welcome aperitif and the dessert buffet. Also during winter, thanks to the transparent closing of the arches and the adequate heating, it can be the perfect setting to accomodate guests. The Attic, the antique barn, is an open space of 600 square meters, characterized by impressive trusses and oval windows. It is the ideal place for after dinner or for hosting weddings with 400 guests. The Cellar is a very comfortable space, thanks to the informal atmosphere given by the exposed brick walls. This floor is perfect for set up the open bar and the DJ set. The mai house of Villa Foscarini Rossi, hosts a Shoe Museum. Passing through the numerous rooms, the visitors can admire more than 1500 examples of shoes, produced by the Rossimoda footwear Company from the second half of the twentieth century up to now, in collaboration with some of the most famous international brands, such as Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Fendi, Givenchy, Porsche, Lacroix, etc.

l Salone degli Affreschi può essere allestito per 200 persone per il pranzo o per la cena, ed è la cornice ideale per il taglio della torta. Nella stagione estiva, l’imponente Portico e il giardino antistante, invitano gli ospiti a godere dell’aperitivo di benvenuto e il buffet di dolci. Nel periodo invernale, grazie alla chiusura trasparente degli archi ed il riscaldamento adeguato, gli invitati possono rilassarsi in questo spazio, e viverlo come un prolungamento del piano nobile. La Mansarda, un tempo Granaio della Villa, è un open space di 600mq, caratterizzata da imponenti capriate e finestre ovoidali, l’ambiente ideale per il dopocena, o per matrimoni con 400 ospiti. L’accogliente Cantina, è un ambiente molto confortevole, grazie all’atmosfera informale creata dalle pareti di mattoni faccia vista. Il dopocena con open bar e DJ-set, trovano in questo spazio l’ambiente perfetto. La Villa padronale ospita invece il Museo della Calzatura. Let’s start a new activity in which our creations can be valued and commercialized!” Adele, my wife, was a fantastic dressmaker. And I worked with wood and iron and I created handmade furnishings and various objects, by using old decors and materials. In a few years period everything has changed: our work was appreciated and we started to travel through Italy in order to satisfy our customer’s desires. All the ingredients for making a photo album Creating a photo album from scratch is, every time, a very long and demanding journey both physically and mentally, but at the same time exciting and fascinating. The story begins to be written from the first meeting, to then continue closing the eyes to try to relive and capture their feelings made of small gestures, and emotional looks. Immediately after you enter the heart of the process that consists in looking for all the possible solutions that come to mind and trying to imagine the final effect, thinking with the head and the heart and pulling out your own ideas, sometimes you have to be ready also to overturn everything if there are elements or situations on which the thread of the narration is lost. This phase never has the pre-established times, rather it almost always extends more than the planned time. elements of the project take shape and all of a sudden it seems to fit together perfectly, it is at this moment that perhaps we no longer feel the need to make other changes and we mark points that will remain fixed until the end. Tell a story with the images is a continuous search directed towards the infinite in which one feels realized only when one feels that all the solutions to be evaluated have taken on foreign one. Needless to say, the sensitivity of the author determines the quality of the final product and that, as in every area in my opinion, only research, passion and determination lead to ever better results. At the same time, the sensitivity of an author risks being sterile without a confrontation with the whole team. The comparison is valuable as well as necessary for a more lucid vision and for the evolution of a project. And the funny thing is that other people with the same photographic material available, could produce an equally beautiful book even if completely different.
Tutti gli ingredienti per la realizzazione di un album fotografico Creare da zero un album fotografico è, ogni volta, un viaggio molto lungo ed impegnativo sia fisicamente che mentalmente, ma al tempo stesso emozionante ed affascinante. La storia inizia a scriversi già dal primo incontro,per poi proseguire chiudendo gli occhi per cercare di rivivere e catturare le loro sensazioni fatte di piccoli gesti,e sguardi emozionali. Subito dopo si entra nel cuore della lavorazione che consiste nel cercare tutte le soluzioni possibili che mi vengono in mente e provare ad immaginare l’effetto finale, pensare con le testa ed il cuore e tirare fuori le proprie idee, avvolte bisogna essere pronti anche a stravolgere tutto se ci sono elementi o situazioni su cui si perde il filo della narrazione. Questa fase non ha mai dei tempi prestabiliti anzi quasi sempre si prolunga più del tempo pianificato. Quando meno te lo aspetti, ci si trova in una condizione nel quale alcuni elementi del progetto prendono forma e tutto all improvviso sembra incastrarsi alla perfezione, è in questo momento che si comincia forse a non sentire più la necessità di effettuare altre modifiche e si marcano dei punti che rimarranno fissi fino alla fine. Raccontare una storia con le immagini è una continua ricerca indirizzata verso l’infinito in cui ci si sente realizzati solo quando si sente che tutte le soluzionida valutare si sono prese in considerazione. Inutile dire che la sensibilità dell’autore determina la qualità del prodotto finale e che, come in ogni ambito a mio avviso, solo la ricerca,la passione e la determinazione portano ai risultati sempre migliori. Al tempo stesso la sensibilità di un autore rischia di essere sterile senza un confronto con tutto il team . Il confronto è prezioso oltre che necessario per una visione più lucida e per l’evoluzione di un progetto. E la cosa divertente è che altre persone con lo stesso materialefotografico a disposizione, potrebbero produrre un libro altrettanto bello anche se completamente diverso.
