EMPLOYEES OF THE 4th QUARTER

FROM OUR AVIATION DIVISION: ANN BRADE AND VICKY RICHARDS

Congratulations to our EoQ from Aviation: Ann Brade from Southampton Airport and Vicky Richards from Bristol Airport.

Ann had finished her shift and was walking through the short stay car park when she overheard a gentleman comment to his elderly mother “you’d have thought they would have been able to provide some help for you”. Ann looked up and saw the lady was less mobile, so told them to wait there. She then commandeered a wheelchair and returned to them and helped them with their bags to the Terminal. Ann went out of her way to provide excellent customer service.

Vicky went above and beyond when assisting and trying to resolve a very difficult situation. Central Search can be an immensely stressful place due to large passenger numbers and anxiety about the process for anyone and Vicky supported the family of a young autistic boy by listening, remaining calm and actively seeking to make the situation better. This ensured the whole family could ultimately proceed without further delay or disruption to the rest of their journey.

All 2022 winner(s) of the Employee of the Quarter make up the shortlist for the Employee (s) of the Year 2022 award, who will receive £/€5,000 (gross) and a lapel pin.

Vicky -

“I am very grateful to receive this award and appreciate the recognition. As a Supervisor, I am there to ensure our passengers have the best experience they possibly can and sometimes the smallest things make that difference. We all need to look after each other. I am glad I was there and able help make things better that day.”
