Roseanna Marie Raney, age 74 of Saranac formerly of Lowell, passed away Friday, May 2, 2025. She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph William Osburn; parents, Mark and Freda Osburn; brothers, James Wert, David Wert, Mark Jr. “Punky” Osburn, Clare “Nubby” Osburn, Raymond Osburn; nephew, James Herschal Brown. Roseanna is survived by her loving daughters, Tonia (John) DeVries, Symantha (Dennis) Edwards, Rachel Osburn; grandchildren, John “Rob” Timmer, Angela (Sam) Greenstein, Zachariah (Lindsey) Bronkema, Michael Bronkema, Lindsey DeVries, Aleecea Moomau, Mariah Moomau, Niomi Moomau, Adalee Smith; eight great grandchildren; sister, Fran Osburn; sister-in-law, Marilyn Wert; nieces and nephew, Chrisann (Mark) Rehl, Donald Joseph Wert, Tess (David) Alyea; best friends, Bridgette Messina and Mike Styles. Roseanna had a passion for music throughout her life. She was an amazing singer and sang with the County Playboys band. She taught her girls from a young age the joy of music from playing Spoons with Tonia and being known as the Dueling Spoons, to buying Rachels first guitar, and teaching Symantha and her sisters all her favorite songs passed down from her mom. Roseanna was very outgoing and loved to joke around with others and sing little diddys to make others smile. Besides music, she loved to cook. Roseanna was known for her delicious food while being the cook at Larkin’s Restaurant in Lowell. She taught her girls more then music, she taught and showed them unconditional love and the power of forgiveness. Roseanna will be deeply missed by all whose life she touched. Family greeted friends and relatives at 10:30am on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Roth-Gerst Funeral Home, 305 N. Hudson Lowell, Michigan 49331, with funeral services starting at 11am. Pastor Campbell officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her honor may be made to Faith Hospice.
