marbellahealthstyle Kimberley Mills Bentley Fitness · Body · Lifestyle · Health · Soul · Style · Mind & the true beauty of Marbella Welcome to my new column, here I will be trying to find new ways to keep fit, stay healthy and have fun in the place I now call home. I will be featuring everything from health, lifestyle, new fitness trends and an insight to my new life here on the coast.
I am a mummy to three very energetic kids, Devon Bow, 6, and twins Dylan and Dolton, 2, and partner of 16 years to ex-footballer David Bentley. We moved to Marbella two years ago to try and build a healthier lifestyle than the one we had back in the UK. The twins were only 4 weeks old when we moved over and, like most new mums,
I had zero energy and found myself getting tired and lethargic really easily. After a few months, I decided I had to make some lifestyle changes as I was frustrated at feeling so ill all the time. I have never been one to slog it out in the gym but I needed some motivation so I

Marbella
Forget the stereotype! This place is one of the most beautiful, vibrant, exciting, fun, cultured ( yes, cultured! ) places in the world! The Spanish way of life is so admirable to me. On a Sunday you will see cafés, restaurants, parks and beaches filled with families from all generations just enjoying each other’s company. The Spanish fiestas are so eye-opening to how “family” and “celebration of life“ plays such a huge role to them. Marbella is full of wonderful places to go and things to do. It’s not just a millionaires playground if you look beyond the glitz and the glam there is a true, authentic, real world that I am blessed to call home! Please just don’t call it “Marbs!”

I’ve noticed quite a few organic health stores popping up around here. One of my favourite things to buy from my local organic store is coconut oil. It has so many health benefits, which include aiding weight loss, helping fight heart disease and it’s great for your skin. I love to mix mine with coffee and sea salt and use it before I shower, leaving my skin feeling smooth, soft and hydrated! Give it a go!
Golf i ng Around
I have been bitten by the golfing bug! I’ve been spending quite a bit of time on the driving range recently honing my swing! I’m about to have my first golf lesson next week coached by a world famous golfer, now residing in Marbella! Stay posted to find out who it is!

Like they say, no one ever wrote a song about a small butt! It seems everyone nowadays is wanting to get a big toned butt! This No P is one area I have always a in, struggled with, so this No G a in! month I have really been focusing on doing exercises to help in this area. I have been using resistance bands everywhere; at home, on the beach, in the garden! They are cheap as chips to buy and can be picked up at most sport shops. You tie the band in a loop, place it around your ankles and do small side steps. Repeat this 10-15 times, then do the same step but raising your leg back and repeat this 10-15 times. Lastly, I do jumping squats. Jump into a squat and back up again 10-15 times. Repeat this routine 3 times and you will definitely start to feel the burn!
Tip: To step up the workout add some ankle weights.
