As a result, the students were able to do a selfreflection on personal experiences, their community, and the immediate community around them, or social issues that are of importance to them, to come up with six CSP themes/ project ideas they wish to work on this year.

The “Empathy to Impact” approach was part of a workshop provided to IC by “Inspire Citizens” to address the Holistic Global Citizenship in teaching and learning. IC educators were provided with a three-day workshop on co-creating learning to powerfully connect students to the outside world, as global citizens, in an action-driven learning experience.

Emergency Evacuation at Ras Beirut

A Total Evacuation Drill at IC Ras Beirut and Earthquake drill at Ain Aar took place.

Students, teachers and staff practiced evacuation of school buildings as though there was an actual fire, earthquake or other emergency.
