Acsauvel: A Life Changing Experience
Visiting Acsauvel provided me with the ability to learn about the reality of the people that share my community. Our lives are surrounded with people who are struggling with their lives and we do not know much about them. Before this experience, I was never in a situation where I had to communicate or have fun with a mentally challenged person, but now, I have come to realize
Maamoul Initiative
“To add a smile and warm the hearts of those who cannot afford the luxury of the traditional Easter sweets, Ain Aar teachers and staff along with the CCSL parents have decided to roll up their sleeves, get their molds and meet on Wednesday the 5th of April at 1:30 p.m for a fun afternoon.
The maamoul sweets will be added to the savory Easter lunch distributed to the underprivileged families of Mar Mansour. Despite the economic challenges, this initiative aims at allowing the families to maintain their Easter tradition and enjoy the festivities.” that although they may be different in some ways, have their own challenges and difficulties as we all do, they were happy and serene in their own world and they were able to communicate these feelings to me. I am looking forward to visiting them in the near future now that I have learned about their needs.
