COVID-19 Updates
Thank you for doing your part to keep our community safe.
IBEW Local 103 Updates
The Union Hall & Woburn office reopened to membership on June 15 under strict Safety and Social Distancing Guidelines. Face coverings are required in the building at all times.
Referral will be conducted by phone and online, and in-person on a limited basis.
The number of people allowed in the Woburn Office and Referral Room is limited.
All members are strongly encouraged to use online and phone procedures for referral, and all other union business, as much as possible.
The JATC office is open by appointment only. All JATC classes, including Code Update, remain suspended and will be rescheduled.
Jobsite and Employment Updates
Thanks to everyone’s cooperation with new safety guidelines, there are NO new Local 103 member COVID-19 cases on any job site! Steady progress is being made as more and more sites open up. Safety remains the number one priority, to prevent resurgence of the virus and future closures.
We have won more than $210 million+ in new work since May! Meaning we are well-positioned to return to full employment in the near future.
Safety Updates
All construction projects ramping back up must facilitate a safety stand down with the entire crew to review the new safety expectations on job sites. You should also receive your own copy of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts guidelines, and if you’re working in the City of Boston, your project’s site- specific safety plan.
