ABOUT HUMMEL
PRIMARY TARGET GROUP EVERYDAY ATHLETES
SINCE 1923 Once upon a rainy afternoon in the year of 1923, a young shoemaker by the name of Albert Messmer was watching a football match in his hometown Eppendorf. During the match, he noticed how all the players were sliding around the muddy pitch – and that sparked an idea. A very bright idea. Albert went home to his workshop, worked all night and the next morning he came out with his first sports product – a pair of football cleats. The football cleat in Albert’s Eppendorf backyard was the starting point for hummel – and now, more than 90 years later, hummel products are sold in more than 35 countries. HUMMEL SPORT & FASHION hummel is the proud long-term manufacturer of sports apparel, sports gear, sneakers and fashion apparel. The sport heritage is omnipresent in all aspects of the hummel brand – including the development and design of all our product lines. Even our fashion collections are characterised by sporty silhouettes and an overall active look. So when new collections are launched several times a year, it is easy to mix and match styles across collections – resulting in a vast variety of styling options. Danish design-traditions are strong influencers on our products. We work with clean lines, add a deep love for edgy details and strong colour-combinations as well as inspiration from retro and current trends to attain our signature cool and urban street style vibe with a sporty twist. TERRAFLY NEW SOFT TECHNOLOGY
Welcome to the part of the book where the designers at hummel have decided to shifted the goalposts a tad, to look through a different lens and to turn the On-Trend dial all the way up to 11. Meet the Terrafly’s, they are very distinct and different shoes that share one important ingredient: the delivery of maximum impact at street level – and maximum comfort for the user. As well as sporting the kind of stylish aesthetic that’s bound to turn heads, the team have implemented some advanced new technology that you’ll notice as soon as you slip your foot inside – they’re lightweight, comfortable, dynamic, breathable and have the requisite levels of support and science that makes them feel just, well, right. The Terrafly is available in four formats: the Terrafly Forseti Mid/low, the Terrafly RB, the Terrafly NP and the Terrafly St. All explosive new additions to the wider hummel range.

TERRAFLY FORSETI MID ALL NEW FOR SPRING SUMMER 2017 This is one of those collections whose colourways are all so enticing it’s difficult to pick which one to try first. Calling them simply Dove, Black, Total Eclipse, Total Eclipse/Blue, White doesn’t quite do them justice, one must take into firm account the lightweight materials, extreme breathability, a one-piece upper and tech design to fully appreciate their appeal.
