Graduates of similar Ontario diplomas may also be eligible for block transfer credit into a Humber degree program if their diploma program has the same program learning outcomes as the Humber diploma. PRIOR LEARNING ASSESSMENT AND RECOGNITION (PLAR) ARE YOU A TRANSFER STUDENT? You are a transfer student if you have completed or partially completed a program at a college or university and wish to continue your studies at Humber. As a transfer student, you can follow one of three paths: Transfer In You want to transfer credits or credentials from another college or university or apply for credit based on prior work or life experience. Transfer Within You are a Humber student or graduate wanting to transfer credits or get advanced standing into another Humber program. Transfer Out If you’re looking to advance your education beyond Humber with another credential, Humber has transfer agreements with many post-secondary institutions throughout Canada and abroad. TRANSFER CREDITS If you have completed a similar course at another recognized post-secondary institution, you may be eligible to receive transfer credits toward your selected Humber program. Use our step-by-step guides and online database to get you started.
PLAR is designed to recognize relevant learning acquired through life and work experience and translate this learning into college credit.
