CAMPUS SPOTLIGHTS

North Campus

Humber’s North Campus has everything you need to be successful, all in one place. When you step onto North Campus, you enter a ‘living lab’ with endless learning opportunities for the more than 19,000 students who study there. Sit down to a meal in the Humber Room, our student-run restaurant, hire a student fitness trainer at our fitness centre or visit our high-tech Golf Lab for a swing assessment.

The spaces at North Campus are designed to foster innovation and connection. Humber’s Building NX, for example, is one of the oldest structures on campus and was recently transformed into an award-winning retrofit renowned for its sustainability. The Humber Arboretum and Centre for Urban Ecology boasts 250 acres of beautiful public gardens and natural areas for you to discover and doubles as an outdoor classroom. A new open learning lab brings nature indoors and features grass-like carpet, collaborative study spaces and a dedicated area to unplug – all designed with accessibility in mind. At Humber, there’s room for everyone. Providing services like counselling, health appointments and IT assistance are just a few of the ways Humber College demonstrates its commitment to student safety and success, helping to shape your future and reach your goals, whatever they may be.

Lakeshore Campus

Humber’s Lakeshore Campus is located minutes away from Toronto’s museums, theatres and galleries, but it’s a destination all its own that offers a mix of history and innovation in the vibrant neighbourhood of South Etobicoke.

When you study at the Lakeshore Campus, you can learn in diverse environments, from a classroom in a historic 19th-century cottage to a booth in a state-of-the-art recording studio. The campus is one of the GTA’s most recognized historic restoration projects with sustainability at the forefront.

The Humber Cultural Hub, which is being built right now, will be a destination for arts and culture and offer world-class film, media and performance facilities. It will also be one of the most sustainable developments in the country and a showcase for best practices in sustainability and energy efficiency. Lakeshore is home to more than 10,600 full-time students, with 400 living in residence and hosts events and initiatives that engage both students and area residents. It’s a place where college meets community. Meet Shay, your tour guide for the Lakeshore Campus virtual tour. Historic Cottage Buildings Lakeshore Campus
