HULME GRAMMAR SCHOOL OUTREACH
2024-2025

2024-2025
We are excited to share our upcoming initiatives designed to engage, inspire, and empower students from across our community This year, we are focusing on six key themes: Art & Creativity, STEM, Sport & Activity, Mental Health & Wellbeing, Climate & Conservation, and Diversity & Inclusion. Each theme will have at its core; benefits for the community, raising aspirations in young people and creating memorable experiences
These themes reflect our commitment to holistic education, nurturing not only academic skills but also personal growth and social responsibility. Through a diverse range of workshops, events, and programmes, we aim to foster creativity, critical thinking, and a sense of community among young learners
We invite schools, charities, local groups and organisations to join us in these enriching activities, where students can explore new passions, develop essential skills, and build lasting friendships. Together, let's make this year a vibrant and transformative one for all participants.
Over the course of the next academic year, we’ll be planning guest talks, workshops, visits to Hulme Grammar and our partner organisations, competitions and all sorts of exciting extra curricular activities
For each of the core themes of our outreach programme, we will centre a week of activities and events to inform, involve and inspire as many young people, pupils and members of the community as possible.
The following timeline summarises when these activities will take place, but look out for other dates for your diary outlined in this brochure

1) start with a talk from a current engineer highlighting the excitement of their role 2) ask students to think about a problem which an engineer could help solve 3) get the students to produce a poster which sells their idea
