St Albans Dinamo Overwhelmed by South Melbourne

In a forgettable match last Tuesday night, St Albans Dinamo faced off against South Melbourne at Lakeside Stadium. Unfortunately for Dinamo, it was a night they would rather erase from their memory, as South Melbourne seized control of the game right from the opening whistle. The match was characterized by one-way traf�ic, with the hosts completely dominating proceedings. South Melbourne wasted no time in making their mark, scoring their �irst goal in the 9th minute. By halftime, they had amassed an astonishing 4-0 lead. The sta- tistics spoke volumes, as South had a total of 13 shots on goal compared to Dinamo’s lone attempt. Although Dinamo showed more resilience in the second half, their efforts were unable to trouble the robust defence of the hosts. The �inal score stood at a resounding 4-0 victory for South Melbourne. Looking ahead, Dinamo is set to return to their home ground this Friday, June 30th, where they will face bottom-placed

In an exciting match last Saturday night, Melbourne Knights faced off against Altona Magic in a highly anticipated showdown.

The Knights displayed great resilience and determination throughout the game, �ighting back from an early 1-0 de�icit in the 14th minute.

With goals from both Nepomuceno and Bramwell, the Knights managed to turn the game around and take the lead, heading into halftime with a 2-1 advantage. However, their lead was short-lived as Altona struck back early in the 48th minute, leveling the scores at 2-2.

Just four minutes later, the Knights found themselves trailing 3-2 after Altona was awarded a penalty. Despite the setback, the Knights continued to push forward and had several excellent opportunities to equalise or even snatch a victory. Unfortunately, luck was not on their side, and they were unable to convert their chances, ultimately walking away without any points.

However, there may be a twist in the tale as the Melbourne Knights have submitted a request to Football Victoria, urging them to investigate a matter concerning a player from Altona
