Od Olimpa do Olimpa EI Baku 2015 - debut of the new / old leadership of the EOC Patrick Hickey, President of the European Olympic Committees (EOC) for two mandates already, will lead again (in the third mandate 2013-2017) the association of 49 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) of the European area, including the COC - decided the EOC Electoral Assembly at its regular session that took place in Rome on November 22nd and 23rd, 2013 (www. eurolympic.org) For Vice-President was elected Janez Kocijancic, president of the Slovenian Olympic Committee and for Secretary General Raffaele Pagnozzi from Italy. Zlatko Matesa, president of the COC and member of closer coordination of the inaugural European Games that will be held in 2015 in Baku, was reelected for member of the EOC Executive Committee. At this occasion the EOC Assembly awarded Matesa with special recognition for contribution to the founding of the Games. Besides the numerous representatives of NOCs, heads of the International Olympic Committee - current president Thomas Bach, his predecessor Jacques Rogge and President of the World Association of NOCs (ANOC) Sheikh Ahmad -also attended the elections of this, the greatest continental Association of NOCs, facing the large and responsible historical task of the first games modeled after the other continental games. On November 23rd, 2013, along with their colleagues from the EOC, they were taken to the Vatican for a private audience with Pope Francis, who motivated the senior officials of the international Olympic movement, among other things, to - as he put it - “creation of athletes inspired by integrity, moral strength and a strong sense of responsibility”. Another four years for Zoran Primorac For the next four years the Olympian Zoran Primorac will perform the duties of the President of Croatian Olympians Club (HKO). After the first election in 2009, he was unanimously re-elected for the second mandate by the Club Assembly held on December 18th at the headquarters in Dom Sportova in Zagreb. Zoran Primorac, holder of silver Olympic medals in table tennis at Seoul Olympics 1988, seven-time participant of the Games, from Seoul, Barcelona, Atlanta, Sydney, Athens, Beijing up to London 2012. Winner of numerous awards at the world and European championships, international tournaments, the Mediterranean Games and domestic competitions. COC’s most successful athlete of the year in 1994, in 1997 as well and holder, the bearer of Croatian flag at the Sydney Olympics opening ceremony in 2000. For contribution to the Croatian sports Zoran Primorac was awarded the State Award for Sports Franjo Bucar and he was also awarded the Order of Croatian Danica with image of Franjo Bucar. The first associates of Zoran Primorac will be the members of Executive Board, unanimously elected Vice-Presidents Danira Bilic, Tomislav Paskvalin, Zeljko Jerkov and Samir Barac, and the members Perica Bukic, Gordan Kozulj, Igor Boraska, Josko Reic, Martina Zubcic, Milivoj Bebic, Dubravko Simenc, Irfan Smajlagic, Nika Fleiss and Aramis Naglic. The elected members of Supervisory Board are: Mladen Fogec, Bosko Cavka and Vjekoslav Safranic. Otherwise, the Croatian Olympians Club has around 600 members - athletes participants of the Olympic Games, and in 2013 the Club is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its establishment. The Constituent Assembly of the Club was held at the Faculty of Kinesiology in 1993 in Zagreb, with Zlatko Simenc as its first President. In September 1995 the Club became a full member of the COC and since then it has three representatives in the COC Assembly. From 2001 to 2005 it was led by one of the most successful Croatian Olympians, winner of two gold and one silver water polo Olympic medals, Perica Bukic. From 2005 to 2009, the President was Stojko Vrankovic, top Croatian basketball player, winner of two silver medals.

Njih 40, uz goste i predstavnike domaćina HOO-a, dale su više nego dovoljno argumenata da se nadalje i trajno propitkujemo činimo li dovoljno za rodnu jednakost općenito, osnažujemo li i motiviramo li dovoljno ženu u upravljanju u športu, uz niz drugih pitanja integriteta športašice u društvu. Dobra je vijest da nacionalni športski savezi imaju još dovoljno vremena da “poprave” stanje, primjenom preporuka do 2015., a koje je dao Hrvatski olimpijski odbor u veljači 2012. s ciljem poboljšanja statistike koja govori u prilog nepotpunome shvaćanju uloge žena u športu. Prezenteri u ovim temama čija istraživanja i radovi trebaju doprinijeti boljem razumijevanju ravnopravnosti u športu i njenih učinaka za društvo u cjelini, bile su ravnateljica ureda za ravnopravnost spolova Vlade RH Helena Štimac Radin, savjetnik pravobraniteljice za ravnopravnost spolova Josip Grgić, stručna savjetnica za šport u Gradskom uredu grada Zagreba Tanja Ališić, tajnica Komisije za žene u športu Gordana Borko, Dina Rendulić (Hrvatski judo savez), Ana Sršen (Hrvatski paraolimpijski odbor) Marina Capan (Savez športova Karlovačke županije), Mirna Rajle - Brođanac (Hrvatski veslački savez/Športska zajednica Osječko-baranjske županije), Ljiljana Kuhta Jeličić (Zagrebački športski savez), Ljiljana Ćulibrk (Hrvatski atletski savez), Lidija Petrinović (Hrvatski badmintonski savez), Linda Antić Borak (Hrvatski košarkaški savez), Ivana Orlić( Zajednica športskih udruga i saveza Sisačko - moslavačke županije), Zrinka Grancarić (Hrvatski jedriličarski savez), Jadranka Protić (Hrvatski akademski sportski savez), Mirjana Bošnjak Kobaš (Županijski savez športova Vukovarsko-srijemske županije), Gordana Furjan Mandić (Hrvatski savez sinkroniziranog plivanja), Danijela Prokopec (Hrvatski savez hokeja na ledu), Jasminka Strelar (Hrvatski savate savez), Maja Milković (Hrvatski rock`n`roll savez) te Ratko Cvetnić, član Komisije za žene u športu HOO-a koji je dao zanimljivo viđenje pod naslovom – „Zašto su muškarci rođeni vođe? Ili ipak nisu?“

Za programe i projekte olimpijske 2014. raspoloživo 113.761.777 kuna Hrvatski olimpijski odbor u 2014. godini raspolagat će sa 113.761.777 kuna (od kojih je od igara na sreću Državnog proračuna 98.183.230 uz očekivani višak od 3.586.010), te 9.751.834 vlastitih marketinških sredstava i 2.240.703 sredstava Olimpijske solidarnosti MOO-a. Proračun za 2014. godinu usvojila je skupština na redovnoj sjednici održanoj 18. prosinca 2014. u hotelu Four Points Panorama u Zagrebu. U odnosu na prethodnu godinu, plan za 2014. manji je za 9.002.577 kn. Nacionalni športski savezi, njih 80, za redovni program imat će na raspolaganju 66.339.682 kuna. Dodajmo tomu i sredstva za pripreme športaša iz redova saveza olimpijskih športova za OI Rio 2016. u iznosu od 5.539.769. U njima će, uz već poznate kandidate, participirati potencijalni A i B kandidati prema kriterijima razvrstavanja dopunjenima u studenome 2013. na prijedlog matičnih saveza športova na
