way. Plains Capital Bank has been on board for the past two years and with the help from Angie Martin their help has been greatly appreciated. Wal-Mart is new this year and they chose to feed the students, sponsors and judges’ hot dogs, chips and all the fixings. It did not stop there as First National Bank’s approval by Jarrod Dickey bought water for everybody. On a hot day, it was greatly appreciated.

But we cannot forget the Weatherford Noon Lions Club. Noon Lions Club members came and worked the computer table tabulating all scores. The club has endorsed and assisted with sponsoring high school horseshoes starting with the Parker County High School Tournament. Now they are involved with sponsoring the State Tournament. The Weatherford Horseshoe Club also enjoyed helping this new sport get a start in Texas High Schools.
