The Howe Bulldogs started off on defense and quickly stuffed the Tomcats The second offensive play from scrimmage for the Bulldogs resulted in a long touchdown run by Easton Ganow The Bulldog defense was strong again today not allowing a first down Kolbie Morris and Anders Bjorn wreaked havoc in the backfield all day causing and recovering a fumble Sean Douglas scored two touchdowns, one being a long run with seconds left on the clock before halftime Austyn Navidad also had a nice touchdown run punishing the defenders along the way Rounding out the scoring for the Bulldogs was a pass from Eli Espitia to Noah Espitia Eli also connected with Noah on two extra points

Howe 3rd/4th grade Bulldogs shutout Wolfe City 29-0

Ulmer raced approximately 40 yards for Howe's first score of the game to give the Bulldogs an early 6-0 lead Boyd was able to return the kick to tie the game, however, and the game remained tied for most of the contest

In the fourth quarter, after a long run by Garren Lankford, Parker Daniels took in a 3-yard score to give Howe a 12-6 lead Howe recovered an onside kick with 5:02 left and Ulmer scored his second touchdown of the game with 1:23 left He also converted the 2-point conversion to give the Dogs the 20-6 win and remain undefeated at 2-0

Howe's eighth grade faced a Boyd team full of big athletes on Thursday at Boyd The game didn't start well for Howe as a fumble took place on the game's opening kickoff which led to Boyd's first score of the afternoon They would add a 52yard touchdown later to up the lead to 14-0 with :14 remaining in the first quarter

Howe got on the board with a 38yard touchdown run by Cooper Jones Quarterback Jacob Campbell ran in the 2-point conversion to cut the lead to 14-8 with 5:50 left in the second Dakota Fetzer intercepted a Boyd pass and returned it 33 yards for a score to tie the game at 14 with 2:07 left before half Boyd scored on a 19-yard pass early in the third quarter for the game's final score and a Boyd 20-14 win

The seventh and eighth grades will travel to Bonham Thursday
