Howe's 12U ran into a buzzsaw against the Collinsville Pirates and their outstanding pitching. The Pirates actually no-hit Howe in the championship game. Anthony Lowder reached base on an error and was the only baserunner. The error was the only thing keeping Collinsville from a combined perfect game from their top two pitchers.
