Save the Church group officially changes name to Summit Gardens In a meeting Thursday afternoon of the Save the Church committee, they group felt as if perhaps the old First Christian Church building has reached the point of officially being saved and now they have pointed their direction to the next phase which is operating a business out of the building that dates back to 1893. A motion was made by Becky Hogenson to change the name of the committee from "Save
the Church" to "Summit Gardens" as the name of the business coming in the near future has been determined to be "Summit Gardens, a wedding and event venue." The motion passed unopposed. Summit Gardens will operate the business under the wing of the Howe Development Foundation.
