Sutherlun signs with Southeastern Oklahoma State University

Kristian Sutherlun signs with family and Coach Hill watching. Howe cross country and track athlete Kristian Sutherlun has signed to participate in both sports for Southeastern Oklahoma State University. With the university being close to home, she felt it was the best option for her as she'll be able to play both sports. "I've been running since sixth grade. So it's exciting to be able to continue as I've been able to," said Sutherlun.
Southeastern is bringing back their track program this year and Sutherlun says it will be a great experience to be on the first team. "Being able to have a team that all run distance is also exciting because we only have two," said Sutherlun. With her families living in Howe and Kingston, Oklahoma, she should have lots of support at her events in Durant.
