Council approves audit The Certified Public Accountants firm of LaFollett and Abbott PLLC gave a recap of the 2016 audit at the Tuesday city council meeting which was approved by the council. The audit concluded that $19,869 be reimbursed to the Collins Memorial Fund which was used for building improvements to
the former First Christian Church. They also recommended moving $163,341 from the General Fund to the Howe Community Facilities Development Corporation. The firm also recommended the city to make proper amendments to reflect over-expenditures.
