Blue Ridge scored first taking an 8-0 lead but Howe answered right back Facing a 4th and 14, quarterback Austin Haley found receiver Ryan Hough for a quick slant that turned into a 60-yard touchdown The point after was no good and Blue Ridge led 8-6
Howe's next possession took place with just seconds left before the half Haley once again found his receiver and Hough scored as time expired in the first half The point after was also no good and Howe took a 12-8 halftime lead

On the Howe possession opening the second half, Rowdy Kuykendall made an exception catch to keep a drive alive on 4th and 10 Cooper Jones turned a sweep into a 37 yard gain, but the drive stalled out three plays later
In the fourth quarter, Tate Harvey would race 15 yards for the team's final offensive touchdown He also converted the extra point to give Howe the 19-12 lead
The defense was outstanding again and Haley intercepted a pass and raced 23 yards for the pick-six to give Howe the final score of 25-12
Howe will take on top-ranked Bells at S&S this Saturday at 10:30 am

The Howe third and fourth grade Bulldogs traveled to Whitewright on Saturday to take on the hometown Tigers Whitewright would score on their first play of the game with a 50 yard sweep and the Bulldogs found themselves trailing 7-0 in the first two minutes of the contest It would only take the 'Dogs about the same time for tailback Braden Ulmer to show the Tigers why some coaches say "he's the fastest nine-year old in Grayson County" as he took off on a 65-yard scamper to the end zone to get the 'Dogs within one of the Tigers and trailed, 7-6

Howe would come right back at the Tigers as quarterback Garren Lankford hooked up with Parker
Daniels for a 10-yard touchdown pass that gave the Bulldogs their fist lead of the day and a 12-7 lead at the half
The Bulldogs' Garren Lankford would receive the second half kickoff and return it 70 yards to put the 'Dogs up 18-7
Howe would score again in the fourth quarter with another run by Ulmer between the tackles untouched in the secondary to close the game 24-7
The 'Dogs are 2-1 on the year and lead the league in scoring after week 3 They will travel to Bells this coming Saturday to play the Trenton Tigers at 10:30 am

Howe Kindergarten-second grade hosted the Trenton Tigers Saturday, September 9 Trenton scored the first touchdown of the game, but the Howe Bulldogs fought back on the third play of their first drive with a touchdown by Riken Cross
Bulldogs were leading by the half, with the help of the defensive line consisting of Austyn Navidad, Noah Fox, Hank DeLavan, and Jordan
Farmer In the second half, there Emerson Stevens caught a touchdown pass Kendall O'Brien ran a kickoff return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter Extra point was scored by Samantha Fuhr Howe won 39-13 which puts them 2-1 on the season
Howe travels to Trenton this Saturday to play the Whitewright Tigers at 1:30
