Howe's That
by Monte Walker
Sheriff Gary not only has been a dedicated law man for our country and our county, but he has also been a protector of our community While growing up in this town, the Gary family were never far away Whether attending First Baptist Church of Howe or having Mrs Gary as my fifth grade teacher, they were always full of class, honor and integrity in so many ways When Keith Gary became Sheriff Gary, it was a proud moment for Howe as 'one of our own' was doing a remarkable thing for the betterment of people - once again
To Sheriff and Mrs. Gary - I think I can speak for this community of Howe when I say, thank you for all you've done and thank you both for being treasures to this city
On the flip side, a new Sheriff rides into town, but he also has deep connections in Howe Sheriff Tom Watt was sworn in last Thursday and I also would like to thank you and your wife and family for your time spent in Howe and being actively involved in our school, sports and all things Bulldogs I'm not sure what it is that makes Howe a necessity for the position of sheriff, but I like it
Sheriff Watt - may God bless you and your family and keep you safe as you protect this county and our city
