Day 3: Seward – Homer (270km) Day 4: Homer From the first breath-taking glimpse of the Homer Spit, you’ll be struck by the stunning natural stage on which the town sits. The peaks of the Kenai Mountains stand watch over Kachemak Bay. Day 5: Homer – Cooper Landing (193km) Pass through Ninilchik, the oldest settlement on the Kenai Peninsula, and continue to Cooper Landing for a two hour float trip on the river. Day 6: Cooper Landing – Girdwood (106km) Enjoy a scenic helicopter flight to the unique glacier base camp that serves as a training ground for Iditarod sled dogs and go dog sledding on a glacier.

Day 3: Seward – Talkeetna (386km) Day 4: Talkeetna – Denali National Park Entrance (169km) and Denali Backcountry Lodge Leave your car at the park entrance and transfer by bus deep inside Denali National Park to your lodge. Day 5: Denali National Park Today explore Denali National Park and experience activities such as day hikes and gold panning.

Day 3: Seward – Talkeetna (386km) Day 4: Talkeetna – Denali National Park Entrance (169km) Day 5: Denali National Park Backcountry Adventure Enjoy a day tour into the heart of Denali National Park. Return to the park entrance via bush plane. Day 6: Denali National Park Entrance – Fairbanks (198km) In Fairbanks enjoy a cruise on the Chena and Tanana Rivers. Day 7: Fairbanks – Valdez (584km)

Day 6: Denali Backcountry Lodge – Denali National Park Entrance Transfer back to the park entrance.

Day 8: Valdez Take an optional cruise into Prince William Sound where you may see humpback whales.

Day 7: Denali National Park Entrance – Anchorage (383km) On your way back to Anchorage stop at Wasilla to visit the Iditarod Sled Dog Race Headquarters.
