The reality of addiction is heavy Behind every overdose and every relapse is a life, a family, and a future impacted by pain and loss. At Hope Center Ministries, we don’t see numbers; we see people. Every man and woman who walks through our doors carries a story, and our calling is simple: help them find freedom, healing, and hope in Christ
In 2024, we witnessed lives transformed and families restored. We saw individuals choose a new path, leaving addiction behind and stepping into leadership, parenthood, and community. Throughout the year, people who once felt trapped by addiction found the strength to rebuild relationships, reclaim their futures, and live with purpose.
We saw parents reunite with children, marriages restored, and individuals step into leadership roles, using their stories to help others. Each moment of restoration is a reminder that addiction doesn’t have to be the end of the story; there is hope and healing.
But this work is far from done.
At Hope Center Ministries, we believe the simple truths that people deserve a second chance, families can heal, and hope is stronger than addiction. Every restored life and every step forward is because of people like you who stand with us.
Together, we can keep moving forward, helping more people, restoring more families, and bringing hope to communities that need it most. Thank you for being part of this journey.

1825 BAPTISMS
FOUR GENERATIONS OF BAPTISM

1,825 baptisms in 2024 is a large number and thousands of stories of hope, freedom, and restoration. But one story stands out, the story of John Yingling and how his recovery led to the baptism of four generations
Trapped in addiction for 17 years, John Yingling never dreamed he would ever be a leader let alone the spiritual leader of his family. Addiction had robbed so much, and what was left were broken relationships and a broken sense of purpose. But through Hope Center Ministries, John rediscovered what he thought was lost forever: freedom, restoration, and hope .
With the mentoring of Hope Center Ministries and the incredible people God brought into his life, John found the true freedom that Christ alone offers."If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed “(John 8:36) was no longer a verse it became reality
He embraced his role as spiritual leader of his household, guiding them to Christ and biblical truth
One of the greatest experiences of John's change was when he, his daughter, his mother, and his grandmother were baptized All at once, four generations now committed to Christ It was a public declaration of their shared faith and an indication of his family's complete restoration.
"Baptism was a new beginning for us," John clarified. "It was the death of our old selves and the resurrection into a new life, one of purpose, hope, and unity."
Their baptism not only solidified their family relationship but also extended their commitment to their church and community. Standing in the water that day, John was reminded of the Joshua 24:15: "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."
Baptism of John Yingling
John's story is a powerful reminder of what Hope Center Ministries is about: restoring lives, families, and communities Now, John has strength and purpose in being able to lead his family, a living example that no one is too far gone for God's grace.
“Thank you, Hope Center Ministries, Compassion Church Dickson, and especially my Recovery Pastor, John Olmstead, for introducing me and my family to the incredible grace of Jesus Christ," John stated
From addiction to leadership, from brokenness to wholeness John's life is living proof of the transformative power of Jesus And now, through four generations of his family, that legacy of freedom will live on.

"Hope Center has completely transformed my life. It’s where I truly experienced the love of Christ and discovered a deeper understanding of Jesus through the incredible leadership at the Bethany campus. Today, I’m a Recovery Pastor at the Ada campus, my mother is a year sober, and I’m working towards full custody of my son. Hope Center didn’t just change my life, it restored my family and gave me purpose."
— Stevie Ray Tawkoyty
For many of our residents, life before Hope Center Ministries was filled with failure, broken families, lost opportunities, and the crushing weight of addiction Every day was a reminder of how far they had fallen until someone introduced them to Jesus, and everything changed
Graduation isn’t just a finish line; it’s proof of transformation It marks the end of a year-long journey of healing and the beginning of a new life For many, it’s the first time they’ve completed something meaningful. It’s a moment that says, “I am not my past. I am a new creation.”
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17
In the first 30 days of the program, residents begin to see hope They realize change is possible, they aren’t failures, and their lives still have a purpose Graduation becomes a symbol of that truth Standing tall and with a certificate in hand, they declare that the person who walked through the doors a year ago is gone, replaced by someone free and whole

But graduation isn’t the end; it’s the start of a new chapter. It’s where faith meets real life, where restored fathers return to their children, mothers to their families, and individuals to their communities, carrying hope that can’t be shaken.

"Our lives have changed drastically since going through Hope Center Ministries Michael and I both completed the program; he graduated from the Temple, TX, location, and I graduated from Purcell, OK We realized that it wasn’t just about getting sober individually; we both needed to heal and grow. Hope Center taught us how to love each other, live sober, and keep God at the center of our marriage. My relationship with my son has been restored, and I have a relationship with my two daughters, whom I gave up for adoption over 10 years ago! We’ve built a new life in Temple, TX, and we’re celebrating 12 years together this year Hope Center didn’t just help us get sober; it gave us the tools to truly live and love again ”
Michael & Danielle Droste
"Hope Center Ministries gave me more than recovery; it gave me hope for a future I’ve found a relationship with God, a supportive church family, and a passion for work I love. While I’m still working toward getting my kids back, Hope Center showed me that restoration is possible. My life now is filled with purpose, courage, and strength. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds me daily that God has a plan for my life, hope, and a future, and I’m living proof of that promise "
Samantha Rabon

"Hope Center changed my life in ways I never thought possible. It helped me restore my relationship with God and showed me that I was worth saving, even when I didn’t believe it myself As the first graduate of the Florence campus, I now serve as the Recovery Pastor at the Goldsboro Women’s Campus I’m working on bringing my 5-year-old daughter here this summer and recently had the joy of my 22-year-old son attending Family Day, seeing me thrive in this role. Hope Center didn’t just give me a second chance it gave me a purpose, a family, and a future I never dreamed of "

The core of our mission relies on the commitment of our volunteers Their time and effort play a key role in changing lives. Without them, the work of our ministry would not be possible.
Volunteering is more than just helping it’s an investment in the lives of men and women on the path to recovery. It’s being present in difficult moments, supporting victories, and showing people they are not alone
In 2024, many lives were changed because volunteers gave their time, served with care, and supported those working toward freedom from addiction From leading classes to offering guidance and support, every act of service made a difference

To every volunteer who gave their time and energy thank you You are an important part of this ministry, and the impact you’ve made will continue to reach families and communities for years to come
You’re not just volunteering. You’re changing lives.

We believe recovery isn’t just about the individual but the entire family Addiction impacts more than just the person struggling; it affects parents, spouses, children, and loved ones That’s why we focus not only on supporting our residents but also the families walking through this journey alongside them
Throughout the recovery process, families are given opportunities to reconnect, learn, and heal. We provide resources that help families better understand addiction, strengthen communication, and rebuild trust. From support nights and educational classes to opportunities for visitation and group recovery meetings, we aim to create spaces where healing can happen on both sides

In 2024, we witnessed countless moments of restoration, parents reconnecting with children, marriages finding new strength, and broken relationships beginning to heal These are the moments that remind us of the power of community and the importance of family in the recovery journey We know that addiction breaks families apart, but Jesus has the power to bring them back together
At Hope Center Ministries, we are committed to walking with families through this process offering support, hope, and the tools needed to move forward, stronger and united.

IIn 2024, Hope Center Ministries continued to expand its global reach, now supporting 11 centers worldwide with over 150 residents living on properties outside the U.S. But we know there’s more work to be done. New doors are opening in England, India, Eastern Europe, South Africa, and Rwanda, creating new opportunities to bring hope to more lives trapped in addiction
What began as simple connections has now become a deeper calling. At Hope Center, we believe that every soul matters, no matter where they are. But the real impact is seen in the lives like Michael's that have been forever changed.
On the streets of Israel, Michael sat against a crumbling wall, a needle in his hand, lost in addiction People passed by; some glanced, and most looked away But Vladimir didn’t.
Vladimir had seen this before addicts trapped in cycles they couldn’t escape, but he also knew that hope was possible. He knelt beside Michael and spoke words that pierced through the darkness He told him about Jesus, a Savior who saw him, loved him, and offered a freedom no drug could
That moment changed everything.
Michael entered a local recovery program, one of Hope Center’s strategic partners in Israel It wasn’t easy, but over time, he found freedom And he didn’t stop there Today, Michael took over after Vladimir passed and leads eight recovery centers across Israel, guiding others toward the same hope that saved him.
Michael’s story is just one of many. But there are thousands more like him, waiting for someone to stop and reach out. We’re not done yet. We’ll keep going bringing hope into the darkest places
