Business Partnership Coordinator


JOB DESCRIPTION Temporary part-time ▶ 16 hours per week to be worked flexibly, with occasional evenings and some weekend working. Salary ▶ This is a self-employed role that would be responsible for their own national insurance and PAYE contributions. Negotiable up to £17.50 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. Reporting to ▶ This role would report to the Midhurst Town Team, trading as the Midhurst Business Partnership (MBP). Length of contract ▶ 6-month temporary contract with potential of becoming a permanent role. Location ▶ Hybrid working, some from home / some hot desk sessions, with the flexibility to attend meetings in Midhurst and build face-to-face relationships with Midhurst businesses. Roles and responsibilities ▶ Taking a key role in the administration of a new business association for Midhurst, including encouraging local businesses to sign up for membership and retaining those businesses within the membership. ▶ Keeping the website and social media channels for MBP up-to-date. ▶ Developing relationships with key partner organisations, such as Midhurst Vision, Midhurst Town Council, Midhurst Town Trust and Chichester District Council, to develop and enhance the community. ▶ Keeping all members informed via a monthly e-newsletter of upcoming events / promotions / special offers and recruitment within Midhurst. ▶ Organising events throughout the year for the membership. ▶ Exploring funding options and opportunities available to the business association / Midhurst Town Team via grants and then applying for these.


PERSON SPECIFICATION ESSENTIAL

▶ Experience of managing a business network or a similar membership model ▶ Administrative experience ▶ Ability to relate well to people ▶ Availability to work flexibly ▶ No job too big or too small attitude ▶ Experience of filling in grant applications and applying for funding ▶ Experience with managing / updating commercial social media pages and websites ▶ Good communication skills, written and oral
