Where the Grasslands Meet the Rockies welcome

Fellow Producers,

As I write this letter, we have had an incredible week. A great election on Tuesday followed up with over 20 inches of snow. We are very thankful for the blessings and challenges of this great life. The market and ranch have been active over the last year. The desire for beef and especially high quality beef is unbelievable. The American people’s palate has tasted an elite product produced by you and they are not going back to anything less in their eating experience. The genetic vision on the ranch is, how can we raise a product that performs in tough elevated country that will help you keep replacements that thrive and sell a set of steers that perform and gain the highest of premiums. That has been our goal for the past decade and we are gaining on those goals every year. This offering is the closest to that goal that we have raised.

The bulls in the offering are managed with longevity and tough country in mind. Managed on big dry pasture to a mature age to ensure hard feet, hard mouths and a reproductive system not encumbered by fat early in its development. We are proud of the commercial preg-check reports we get back and we plan on continuing to try to improve. There is not a science we don’t use to bring you the most information possible to make risk free progressive genetic decisions. We guarantee these bulls will be ready to go. The females in the offering offer a center and top cut of our herd. We are a dominant summer calver, so the bred heifers offer a unique opportunity to bring you options as they can roll into a fall calving program if desired. Many are bred to Mason Landmark, who we hold great promise for at the ranch and across the country.

In closing, we are excited about the offering and direction of our program. The pictures and videos are who the animal is from their capacity, toplines and depth. That is our word. Our family and team here fight every day for the ranching way of life and one way we can do that is help you get paid in what is and will be a great market for years. Desired product in marketing is always better than a commodity product. Our goal is as they process these cattle and calve these females out, that the market finds you and you use your accumulated genetic leverage to support your family and way of life. If I or any of my sons or brother can be of assistance, please don’t hesitate to call.

P.S. Don’t forget the free national trucking and $250 to help pay for your trip if you buy while in attendance at the sale. Nobody knows the effort it takes to get to Maxwell, NM more than me and we would like to help with that for you to come see our country and product.

A NOTE FROM OUR AUCTIONEER

An awesome home away from home and one of my favorite trips of the year is to be in Maxwell,

The serenity and tranquility of the Hi Lo country where the grasslands meet the Rockies is a place that should be on your bucket list of places to visit. Traversing through the stock that is built for this unique environment is refreshing when you are here. The video and pictures will not fully express what these bulls truly are until you get your eyes on them in the flesh. When Angus cattle survive and thrive at elevation, they will certainly flourish in environments with less pressure from the elements.

I have had the opportunity to attend Angus sales in 21 different states with Chris Earl in the past year. He is positioned so uniquely different from any other breeder in regards to the amount of genetics, managements, and personalities that he encounters on a daily basis. Understanding the world and the people in it is crucial to running a good business. I promise you that Chris has seen it all and brings those experiences and lessons to RRR. With Trent and Garrett moving the ranch forward everyday, along with Chris’s 30,000 foot view of the cattle business, it is real the most ideal family imaginable to provide genetics and services at the next level. I invite you to look to RRR as your genetics provider as I know first hand that the cattle work across the country and the people behind this product. Perhaps more importantly, they are tireless fighters on a national level to ensure the ranching way of life is preserved and fair for generations to come.
