Our sole purpose has, and always will be, to provide seed stock that have a positive impact on the cattle industry and thrive in a real world, practical environment. This year’s offering of bulls and females exemplifies those fundamental traits with added growth and carcass merit.
The bulls sell with a breeding guarantee and free national delivery detailed on the info page of our catalog. Feel free to stop by the farm at your convenience to walk through the bulls and females. We welcome and look forward to your visit! On sale day, we will be offering a complimentary lunch. Come early and look through the penned cattle while enjoying a brisket lunch.

HEALTH
All cattle will be accompanied with proper health certificates for immediate shipment. All females have been vaccinated with Triange 10HB. All cattle will have been treated for internal and external parasites within 30 days of the sale. All bulls have been semen tested.
BULL MANAGEMENT
Bulls were weaned with no creep and then started on test with a 12% protein ration for 120 days when yearling weights were taken. The long yearlings have since been hand fed 12lb of grain along with hay.
CATTLE INFORMATION
All registered bulls in this sale have DNA enhanced EPD’s and parentage verified using DNA. Updated data on all the bulls will be available a week before sale day. The spring yearling bulls were too young to have some data available for the catalog. Any new information will be posted on our website and Facebook page, including updated yearling weights and scrotal measurements. You can view updated EPD’s online at angus. org on our digital catalog. Videos will be available to view 2 weeks before sale date on our website or at DVAuction.com
ANNOUNCEMENTS AND LIABILITY
Anyone attending this sale does so at his or her own risk. Announcements from the auction block regarding the cattle selling in this sale take precedence over information listed in this sale book.
RETAINED BULL INTEREST
For bulls selling with retained interest, buyer gets full possession with Stone Gate Farms retaining 1/3 interest on semen sales. Stone Gate Farms asks buyer to provide 30 straws / year for in herd use at buyers convenience and Stone Gate Farms expense.
FIRST BREEDING SEASON GUARANTEE
All bulls selling will be covered 100% for any breeding soundness issues for the 90 day breeding season after the first turnout of the bull. For those bulls bringing $5,000 or more, the guarantee is extended for a full year from purchase. 100% of the value of the injured bull minus the salvage value will be given only as credit in a future sale or towards a replacement bull if available. Injury must be verified by a veterinarian and notice given to Stone Gate Farms immediately. All claims for the 90 day guarantee must be made by September 1,2025.

Throughout our 73-year history at Stone Gate Farms, the end-product consumer has always been front of mind. My grandfather, Charles Cannon, was an influential member of the American Angus Board of Directors in the 1970’s and 80’s and served a term as President of the American Angus Association. He was among a group of visionary members who launched the Certified Angus Beef program that we commonly see in grocery stores and restaurants across the nation.
In 2025, we are taking our deep roots in the cattle business direct to the endproduct consumer with the launch of Stone Gate Beef. Stone Gate Beef will be selling exclusively on the Bid on Beef platform. Bid on Beef is an innovative direct to consumer online platform that allows YOU the consumer to purchase beef in an auction style format and have it shipped directly to your door. To say we are excited about this new venture is an understatement.
We believe Angus beef is among the most desired sources of protein in the world. Knowing and trusting your beef producer is a luxury that is held in high regard. At Stone Gate Beef we handle the entire process, from birth to harvest, managing the health and nutrition of the cattle to achieve the highest quality humanely raised beef. We use a local USDA inspected facility for processing, ensuring the cuts are graded and meet the highest of quality inspections.
