This is one of our more nail-biting offerings yet, as we offer both bulls and females that we originally anticipated keeping for our own herd. Our lead off bull and female lots have proven themselves beyond our expectations and we realize that it is time to offer them to you. Phil is a native of Shady Valley, TN where he grew up on a small beef and tobacco farm. He graduated from the University of
Tennessee, Knoxville with a B.S. in Animal Science. For the last 36 years, he has served as an Extension Agent for Virginia Cooperative Extension with a major emphasis in animal and crop and soil science including livestock production and marketing, tobacco, and forage production for livestock and dairy. A local celebrity among Virginia’s ag producers, Phil bring wisdom, experience, and inspiration to livestock producers rooted in faith and grit. Phil is married to his wife of 43 years and has three daughters and give grandchildren.
