Thank you for taking the time to evaluate the offering. We lead off with the Lot 1s, which are the progeny of 0169. We have been very pleased with how they have turned out. Every mating we have done with her has turned out well. We can appreciate different matings doing different things. However, they are all consistently deep bodied, easy flushing, with incredible growth and phenotype. All of her and her daughter’s eggs have been very sticky. Conception rates on all matings have been very successful. We are also pleased to offer the full sister of 0169 who has the same great look and phenotype.
We are excited to bring a complete set of bred heifers that are ready to go to work and a very nice set of open heifers that have a lot of genetic potential. This set of cattle should optimize success in an already exceptional cattle market. Thank you for your consideration. A NOTE FROM COLIN
- Welcome to our 2nd Fall Female Sale. I think we have an excellent set of females to offer. The 0169s will lead things off strongly with a ton of depth of body and power. The lot 1A brings the whole package with a nice epd spread and excellent phenotype. The 1B has an attractive phenotype and a ton of power but still calving ease to go with it along with lots 1C, 1D, 1E and 1F. Lot 1G is the full sister to 0169 and has an amazing phenotype and carries a nice set of EPD’s. The lot 2B is an admirable female with the full package of EPD’s and a solid pedigree. The lot 3 is a powerful heifer with over a 100 $M and out of a superb donor. Lot 6 goes back to one of my favorite cows (7245) that pack excellent disposition, muscle and raises one of the biggest weaning weight calves year in and year out. The lot 7a is an outstanding cow with a future donor out of Symmetry selling with her in Lot 7b. Lot 8 is one of my favorites of the sale with outstanding phenotype and a great pedigree, along with lots 11 and 15 who all go back to the great Image Maker 85 cow, and the lot 18 heifer is very similar coming from the consistent rose cow family. There isn’t much bad you can say about Lot 20 with excellent disposition phenotype, and a top 3% $Maternal index. Lot 29’s grandma is a pathfinder and her mother is on her way to be one. The lot 34 is a magnificent heifer that has a ton of depth of body just like all of the Pacifics. Lot 46b is out of the great Susanna cow family and then you bring in Jameson and you get the whole package. Lot 49 is an amazing heifer that has had outstanding phenotype from day 1 along with lots 50 and 56.

Fertility with docility has been a paramount pressure point in our selections since the first registered female set foot on our farm. The ability to apply top performance traits came easily after that. When adhering to stringent culling for foot quality and measuring every trait possible, we felt like we understand what Maternal means in our cow herd with the data to prove it. Through this selection, longevity comes about naturally and honestly.
Our current Heifer Pregnancy DNA score average of 577 head in the herd is in the top 29.56% of the breed on average!
