Friends and fellow cattlemen,
Welcome to our Annual Production Sale. It truly is an exciting time to be in the cattle business. We continue to bring genetics to our offering that are right for the times. Maternal traits and performance continue to be our focus. When selecting genetics that make our sale, it starts at the ground. The sale bulls are selected the day they are weaned. It starts with feet, legs, and structure. The cattle must have natural fleshing ability. We do not utilize creep feed on our cattle. We want to ensure that our calves at weaning are 100% off of grass and their mothers milking ability. We run the bull calf pairs in large contemporary groups on pasture. The 1st calf heifers remain in their own contemporary group while 2nd calvers go against the mature cows.
This set of bulls is the most impressive and consistent set that we have ever offered. We will be retaining semen on several of these bulls to continue the consistency that these genetics are producing. Refer to the footnotes on these bulls as this is how we see them impacting their offspring on how they will produce.
We will be offering 20 open heifers on the sale this year that are right out of our replacement pen. This is the most consistent set of heifers that we have ever offered. With the kids taking on more of the responsibilities around here and building their herds, we are keeping the March calvers that we usually have on our sale for them to build with. There will not be any bred heifers and cows on this year’s sale.

TERMS OF SALE
All cattle are to be settled for sale day unless prior arrangements have been made. The cattle sell under the standard terms and conditions as recommended by the American Angus Association.
ONLINE BIDDING
The sale will be broadcast live on DVAuction.com. Please register to bid prior to sale day. For general questions, please contact the office at 402316-5460 or support@dvacution.com. High speed internet required!
FREE BOARDING & DELIVERY
Free boarding on all bulls and delivery will start around April 1, 2025. We offer free delivery within 200 miles until April 15, 2025. After April 15, delivery will be made at the buyers expense or if you would like to leave them here, please pick them up before May 15, 2025. Bulls will be semen tested around April 1, 2025 when the weather warms up and buyers will be notified when semen testing is complete. Females need to be picked up sale day or the day after.
VOLUME DISCOUNTS
Volume Discounts will be offered starting at 3 bulls (3%) and increasing 1% for each additional bull up to 10 bulls. Maximum discount of 10% offered. No volume discount on females.
SEMEN INTEREST
Foxhoven Angus will retain 1/3 interest in all bulls selling. Buyer has full possession and salvage value.
SUPPLEMENT SHEET
A supplement sheet will be available sale day with all updated performance information. This sheet and all announcements from the block will take precedence over information in the catalog.
BREEDING GUARANTEE
All bulls selling for $3,000 or more will be covered 100% (less $1,750 salvage value) by Foxhoven Angus if they are injured in the first breeding season and are not able to return to service. Breeding season is defined as the 90-day period following the first turnout of the bulls. 100% of the value of the injured bull, minus the salvage value, will be given as credit in a future sale or toward a replacement bull if one is available. All injured bulls must be diagnosed by a veterinarian. Please notify us as soon as possible and prior to the bull being sold for salvage. All claims must be made by September 1, 2025 . Death is not covered by this guarantee. Please ask us how we can help you insure your investment.

RETAINED INTEREST
We are retaining a 1/3 semen interest or revenue interest on all bulls selling, unless announced differently from the auction block.
HERD HEALTH
All bulls will be required to pass the full fertility evaluation prior to delivery. We utilize a complete calf vaccination program involving strategically timed vaccinations. All calves received Pyramid 5, Vision 7 Somnus and Pasturella. All heifers have been bangs vaccinated, received Preg-Guard 10 pre-breeding, and were vaccinated for scours with Guardian. We also utilize an excellent deworming program. All required interstate health papers will be provided. Contact us with any questions.
