Not only has he illustrated books but he has written his own, such as “You Matter.” He has worked with the Sesame Workshop and Pixar Animation Christian Robinson has won some awards for his illustrations such as a Caldecott Honor, Newberry Medal, New York Times Bestseller, and Coretta Scott King Illustrator. Robinson’s artwork and story is inspiring and he uses his art to make space for the kind of art he wanted to see. Check out his books next time you’re in the library!

After you’ve read Baby Loves Paleontology have fun making your own dinosaur dig Get a small tub Add 2 cups of cornstarch and 4 cups of sand. Add a bit of water to clump up the mixture Add in some toy dinosaurs and small rocks. Let it sit 1-2 days. Come back with small paint brushes or any mini tools and get to diggin’!
