Plan everyones roles

Ask your friends and family to be apart of your big day

Shop for attire

Find your dress make it an experience!

Find suits and or tuxes

Find bridesmaid dresses

Finalize Guest List

Send save the dates so everyone can plan ahead

Create room blocks if needed

Plan Catering and Dessert

If your venue does not have catering you will have to find one

Schedule tastings with baker and caterer if possible

Consider menu options- share dietary needs of all guests

Months Before the Wedding:

Decor and Details

If you’re diying anything get to it

Decide how you’re doing florals

Book florist is needed- discuss bouquets, centerpieces, all other florals

Hair & Makeup

Find Hair & Makeup Artists

Schedule Trial session to finalize your look

Entertainment

Plan Ceremony and Reception music

If you have not already book your DJ or Band

Book extras if needed: photo booth, ceremony musician, ect,

6-4 Months Before the Wedding:

Final Invitations

Send out formal invitations with RSVP details

Be sure to include room block information

Timeline & Logistics

Work with your planner, venue, & photographer to create a wedding day timeline

Confirm schedules with all creative partners

Create a week of timeline for wedding party

Fittings & Styling

Schedule dress fittings and ensure all alterations are completed.

Finalize accessories, shoes, and undergarments for you and the groom.

Bonus Tips:

Stay Organized: use a binder or wedding planner app to keep track of contracts, receipts, and meeting notes.

Delegate: If possible assign tasks to trusted friends and family to help ease the load of planning.

Enjoy the journey: find fun ways to enjoy this special season with your partner. Ex: Have a Monthly Date night on your wedding date. On this dote you can’t talk anything wedding!

4-1 Months Before the Wedding:

Confirm all details

Check in with all vendors

Confirm bookings, timelines, and special requests

Provide the final head count to venue and caterer

Wedding Day!!!

Have a good breakfast and hydrate

Have someone help keep everyone on Schedule but stay flexible to avoid unneeded stress

Have easy snacks on hand that are light and mess free to munch on Ceremony & Reception
