Due to the Covid-19 Crisis, we've had to adapt to a number of ever changing scenerios that have made the dynamics of celebrating more challenging.

Since late March 2020, we have discontinued buffet service entirely. As of July 1, 2020, self serve buffets are entirely discontinued. We are currently working with the First District Health Unit to determine how to resume a served buffet but do not expect that finalized until the first week of July.

For the duration of the 2020 year, all menus will now be custom quoted due to the extreme fluctuation of we are seeing in our normally stable supplier systems.

We greatly appreciate your patience as we work to adapt and move forward from the pandora's box that we are all experiencing.

Beef

We believe that our clients deserve better than the market provides and that has led us to shop for products far more different from its competitors. Since the beginning, Hometown Elegance has taken pride in the fact that our suppliers recognize us as the sole operation that does not price but rather selects is grocery supplies by quality. To keep this commitment to you, all of our beef is rated at Choice or higher. All of the steaks we order are provided by a Bismarck based butcher and they’ve partnered with us to ensure that when we order steaks, we receive nothing but the best from them. We take it a step further and seek out fresh and never frozen products as much as possible to ensure the best possible meal experience. Nothing tells us that we’ve done right by our clients when tables are filled with the sounds of mmmm mmmm.

We recognize that our clients are satisfied by selecting chicken as their poultry open for their events but in our drive to serve our clients better, we make it a point to go beyond just the standard chicken breast. Like all grocery selections, we insist on the best we can find with never frozen a priority for selection.

Preparing for Service

To get ready for service at your event there are a couple questions you must decide initially. The first question is what style of service you would like. Buffet, Plated or Stationed are the options we provide for all dinner services. Next you must decide whether you would like to use high quality disposable dinnerware or if you prefer real dinnerware and cutlery. Once you have decided upon those two questions, along with have a beginning idea of what your menu will look like, we can put together a custom proposal for you to review so you know down to the penny what your investment will be for a proper dinner service for your celebration.
