O God, your Son Jesus Christ has left to us this meal of bread and wine in which we share his body and his blood.

May we who celebrate this sign of his great love show in our lives the fruits of his redemption; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.

Holy Trinity 190th Anniversary Prayer Bishop: God of our ancestors we thank you for those who established, led and served this parish over the past 190 years. We celebrate their commitment. For all that has been: All. We thank you.

Bishop: We give thanks for our priest and this present congregation, for their diverse ministries at home and abroad. We celebrate the present. For all that is: All. We thank you.

Bishop: Fill us with your Holy Spirit that we may grow in passion and confidence. Empower us to carry the gospel into our neighbourhood and beyond as we embrace each new day. For what will be: All. We thank you.

THE FIRST READING: Deuteronomy 8:2-3, 14-16 RON TOLHURST Remember the long way that the LORD your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, in order to humble you, testing you to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commandments. He humbled you by letting you hunger, then by feeding you with manna, with which neither you nor your ancestors were acquainted, in order to make you understand that one does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD. then do not exalt yourself, forgetting the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery, who led you through the great and terrible wilderness, an arid waste-land with poisonous snakes and scorpions.

He made water flow for you from flint rock, and fed you in the wilderness with manna that your ancestors did not know, to humble you and to test you, and in the end to do you good..

THE SECOND READING: 1 Corinthians 10:16-17 CATHY WALKER-PILGRIM The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a sharing in the blood of Christ? THE APOSTLES’ CREED (Page 189) All: I believe in God the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth: And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Guide our bishops, priests, deacons and all the baptized.

Grant that your One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, will be united in purpose, consecrated in spirit, welcoming, inclusive, bold in proclamation and be for the world the very bread of life that we eat.

Hear us, O God. All: Your mercy is great.

Leader: Holy One, you bind us together as a family in this community of faith. We pray for the members of our parish family, especially Emmaleen Baker, Joyce Banton, Anne Barwell, Cathy & Ed Baumann, Barbara Beale; the children and & Youth of our Community, our parish staff, JesĂşs, Swan, Judith, and Rachel, and The Residents & staff of Glynnwood, Oakridges & Richmond Hill Retirement Homes. Increase our love and concern, one for the other, where there is brokenness and bitterness, show us your way of love. Make us one, as you are one, and grant that we will be more generous in our compassion for, support and understanding of each other. Hear us, O God. All: Your mercy is great.

Leader: Holy One, the whole earth is yours. Where there is fire, bring cool air and new growth. Where there is flooding, bring abatement. Where there is drought, bring rain. Grant that we will be responsible stewards of its bounty, preserve its beauty and ensure its sustainability.

Leader: Holy One, we have created painful conditions and situations which break your sacred heart. We pray for our leaders elected by us to look after our health and welfare and ensure our peace. We uphold Julie, the Governor General, Justin, the Prime Minister, Doug, the Premier, Maurizio, Frank, David, John, the Mayors of our cities, the leaders of this and other lands. Grant that they will always have regard for the poor and vulnerable in the decisions they make. Hear us, O God. All: Your mercy is great.

Leader: Holy One, all lives are precious in your sight for we are your children, all made in your image. You care for those who are harassed and helpless. In this time of social unrest and upheaval, protect and defend those who are abused, especially the Black Lives that matter. Speak to those who can make a difference and enable them to hear your voice in the feet that march and the voices that cry out for justice. Hear us, O God. All: Your mercy is great.

Leader: Holy One, you care for the sick, the sad, and the sorrowful. We pray your healing presence and power on for Jane (Campbell), Ray (Downer), Carol (Drieberg), Sandra (Kirk), Larry (Knight), Janet (Marambio), Linda (McVeigh), Cleo (Simpson), Ian (Sinclair), Eve (Spafford) and Our Sick Friends: Stephen (Baker), Vernal (Bertie), Carolyn (Brooks), Brenda (Cory), Joan (Davis), Heather (deGraft), Alicia (Downes), Richard (Erdnan), Yukao (Hui), Kendall (Mobley), Kervin (Rolle), Christopher (Spina),
