CATHOLIC CHURCH 2019 – 2020 ANNUAL REPORT 2018 – 2019 ANNUAL REPORT
A Message from Father Joe Dear Holy Family Parishioners, I am so grateful for all of you – for who you are and for the generous gifts of your time, your talent, and your treasure. Your generosity is allowing our parish to enhance our ministries and continue to serve you and your family, even in uncertain times. I am reminded of the many blessings in our community that occurred in this past year – our second annual Carols and Cocktails, the completion of the Prayer Garden and Columbarium, and the beginnings of a new parish and potential school in Nolensville – and I am especially thankful for the blessing of this community. The strength and faithfulness of our parish made it possible for us to quickly adapt to livestream Masses and virtual meetings when the pandemic began. Holy Family continues to thrive thanks to your wholehearted participation. Thank you for taking the time to read this Annual Report, which illustrates just how vibrant and growing we are as a parish community. Let us be thankful for all the blessings of the past and trust in the Lord’s faithfulness as we move into the future. Sincerely, Father Joe

Ministry Spotlight Decorating & Floral Committee
The “language of flowers” has an official name – Floriography. Flowers help celebrate weddings, grieve at cemeteries, and surprise first dates and anniversaries. Just about every week at Holy Family, the Decorating & Floral Committee take part in sharing flowers with all who worship here. This ministry helps celebrate passings and anniversaries, births and remembrances. Once a flower donation is made, the wholesaler selects what flowers are at their peak that week and sends buckets of flowers to Holy Family. Volunteers are always filled with surprise to see what flowers have arrived to create the arrangement that weekend. Sometimes they wonder, “how are these flowers going to work together?” But it always does. “All things work together for good to those who love God.”
