Final ads will be standard letter size (8.5x11 inches) when printed and trimmed, which is represented by the red rectangle above. To ensure your ad looks crisp, we ask that the ad include at least 0.25 inches of bleed on all sides, for a size of at least 8.75x11.25 inches, which is represented by the gray rectangle. Note: nothing important should be inside the bleed!
IMAGERY
If there is any imagery included in your ads, please insure all images are converted to CMYK and are at least 300 dpi in resolution. If photos/document colors are in RGB, they will be converted to CMYK when printed and may not come out as you see on screen. We will NOT be accepting any ads that have low-resolution images and you will be asked to send over a new file.
FILE FORMAT
For convenience and efficiency, please send ads in PDF format. When exporting, please use the HighQuality Print OR Press-Quality preset to ensure the file is in its best quality.
FILE SUBMISSION

EDITORIAL SPECIFICATIONS
IMAGERY
All images that are sent over to be included in your editorial should be converted to CMYK and are at least 300 dpi in resolution. If photos are in RGB, they will be converted to CMYK when printed and may not come out as you see on screen. We will NOT be accepting any images that are low-resolution and you will be asked to send over new ones.
ADDITIONAL ASSETS
Along with images, we need two other assets to make your editiorial possible: the write-up of the content and captions for the photos. Please keep the write-up on one document; the captions can either go in that document (clearly marked) or in the email sent to the designer with the other assets.
FILE FORMAT
Please send images in JPG or JPEG format, as this the best format to keep their quality. Write-ups of the editorial can be sent as one of the three file types: PDF, .docx (Microsoft Word) or .doc (Google Docs).
