Brunette knockout Christina Estrada and her husband, Saudi billionaire Sheikh Walid Juffali, owned a spectacular mansion in Beverly Hills . A messy divorce in 2016 left Estrada the sole owner of the home, and Christina has now listed the stunning estate for sale at $26 million. The home is featured this week at TopTenRealEstateDeals.com.

Brunette knockout Christina Estrada modeled for some of the world’s top brands and appeared in the famous Pirelli calendar. Born in the USA, the glamorous Estrada has been based in London since 1998. She was previously married to Saudi billionaire Sheikh Walid Juffali, but after a messy divorce in 2016, Christina became the sole owner of their fabulous Beverly Hills villa. Christina has now listed the stunning estate for sale at $26 million. According to the listing agent, Gary Gold, “This is the quintessential Beverly Hills estate located on the best block of the best street in the Flats. This is the type of home you see in a movie portraying the good life.”

Built in the 1930s, the mansion has been painstakingly restored, blending the irreplaceable craftsmanship of a bygone era with all the latest in modern luxury. Spanning 9,000 square feet with five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and luxe modern amenities, the residence will be sold fully furnished.

The two-story home boasts an imposing Italian-style facade. Old World styling is evident throughout the mansion, with columns, archways, wrought-iron details, and exquisite beamed ceilings. Enter through the impressive two-story foyer, featuring double staircases, coved archways, a wonderful chandelier, and a hand-painted ceiling. The chef’s kitchen boasts top-of-the-line appliances and a spacious butler’s pantry, while the formal dining room includes seating for 12. A cozy breakfast area offers a more relaxed atmosphere, with yard access for al fresco dining.

The spacious primary suite includes big windows for lots of natural light, a generously appointed bathroom with marble accents and a glamorous mirrored powder room, plus a walk-in closet fit for a supermodel’s wardrobe. Upstairs, find three more bedrooms with their own en-suites, furnished in a classic style. A step-down living room with steel-case windows and an attractive great room with an inviting fireplace offer lots of space for lounging. Meticulous attention to detail is evident in every room, while the chic but understated furnishings allow the home’s timeless beauty to shine.

The spectacular yard offers an exclusive resort-like atmosphere, with a stylish pool, manicured lawns, and tall hedges for lots of privacy. Multiple balconies offer pool views, while the den and family room connect with the outdoor spaces for seamless indoor-outdoor living, taking advantage of LA’s yearround pleasant weather. The covered loggia is especially lovely, with intricate columns and a curtained gazebo. Other amenities include a library with built-in bookshelves, a five-car garage, and a separate guest house with two bedrooms and two baths.

Located just off world-famous Sunset Blvd, the mansion is convenient to the music and entertainment venues of the Sunset Strip, the high-end shops on Rodeo Drive, the Getty Museum, and the Los Angeles Country Club. Known for its beautiful homes on large lots, the Flats is one of 90210’s most exclusive neighborhoods. Just a few of the zipcode’s illustrious residents include Adele, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Aniston, Jack Nicholson, Ashton Kutcher and Katy Perry.

The listing is held by Gary Gold at Forward One.

THE NIGHT STARS

Highlights from the 2025 BAFTA Awards

The 78th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) lit up London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall on Sunday, February 16, 2025, bringing together cinema’s finest for a night of glamour, talent, and celebration. Considered the British equivalent of the Oscars, the evening was a stunning showcase of star power, emotion, and memorable moments that will be talked about for years to come.

David Tennant: The Host with the Most

For the second consecutive year, the ever-charismatic David Tennant took the reins as host, bringing his signature wit and charm to the stage. Tennant kicked off the evening in an unexpected yet highly entertaining way, performing a modified karaoke version of I’m Gonna Be by The Proclaimers. The fun moment became even more memorable as several BAFTA stars joined him in song, creating an impromptu ensemble performance that set a playful tone for the night.

The light-hearted opening was just the beginning, as Tennant kept the audience laughing throughout the evening with his quick humor and cheeky jabs. One of the standout moments came when he made a playful dig at President Donald Trump, referring to him as “Beetlejuice” after repeating the president’s name three times, a reference that had the audience in fits of laughter. Tennant’s blend of humor and irreverence ensured that the evening was filled with both entertainment and lighthearted banter.

Monochrome Magic: Fashion’s Statement Night

This year’s BAFTA red carpet was dominated by chic monochrome looks, with black clothing reigning supreme as the

fashion statement of the evening. From elegant gowns to tailored tuxedos, stars embraced timeless sophistication, creating a visually stunning display of classic glamour. Sleek black ensembles, often paired with striking accessories, exuded refinement and elegance, setting the tone for the night.

However, the red carpet wasn’t all about black—pastels and sparkles added refreshing pops of color and shimmer. Soft pastel hues offered a light contrast to the dominant black, bringing a touch of freshness to the evening. Meanwhile, metallics and sequins dazzled under the spotlight, with stars opting for gowns and suits that glistened with every movement. This combination of monochrome and vibrant accents showcased the diversity of personal style, creating a dynamic, fashion-forward atmosphere that perfectly matched the glamour of the BAFTAs.

Romance in the Air

The night was also filled with romance, as celebrity couples turned heads. Sebastian Stan shared the spotlight with his girlfriend, Annabelle Wallace, while Adrian Brody looked dashing alongside his partner, Georgina Chapman. Jeff Goldblum made a sweet appearance with wife Emily Livingston, adding an extra layer of charm to the already magical atmosphere. The royal touch came courtesy of Prince William, who appeared via a heartfelt video message, bringing a touch of regal class to the night.

Memorable Wins: Triumphs and Tears

The evening also saw some unforgettable moments of recognition. David Johnson’s win for Rising Star—an award voted on by the public—was met with cheers and applause, signaling a bright future for the young actor. Zoe Saldana’s emotional acceptance of Best Supporting Actress was a powerful moment, as she expressed gratitude for the role that changed her career, leaving the crowd in awe of her heartfelt speech.

In a surprising twist, Mikey Madison took home the award for Best Actress, despite Demi Moore being considered the frontrunner for weeks leading up to the ceremony. Madison’s win was a well-deserved testament to her incredible performance and marked a key moment in her career.

The evening’s biggest honor, Best British Film, went to Conclave, a gripping drama that captivated both critics and audiences alike, taking home the night’s most coveted prize.

The Night’s Legacy

The 2025 BAFTA Awards proved to be a night of celebration, recognition, and unforgettable moments. With its stunning fashion, heartfelt speeches, and some delightful surprises, the evening solidified its place as one of the most prestigious and anticipated events in the film industry. As the stars continue to shine, the 78th BAFTA Awards will be remembered as a night where talent and glamour met in perfect harmony.

A Look at Hollywood’s Ultimate Night

The Oscars, officially known as the Academy Awards, were first held on May 16, 1929, by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) with one bold goal: to honor the very best in film. What began as a small, intimate gathering to recognize excellence in categories like acting, directing, and producing has since evolved into the ultimate celebration of cinematic brilliance. The first ceremony, held at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, was a far cry from the glitzy spectacle we know today. Just 270 guests attended, and only a handful of awards were handed out, with winners revealed three months in advance. It was humble, but the seeds of Hollywood’s biggest night had been planted.

As the film industry exploded in both scale and influence, so did the prestige of the Oscars. Over the years, the ceremony blossomed, adding more categories, broadening its scope, and eventually becoming an international event broadcast to millions. By the 1950s, the Oscars were live on television, making it a global phenomenon that captivated audiences everywhere, cementing its place as the most iconic awards show in the world.

The Oscars have always mirrored the cultural landscape, evolving alongside societal change. Early ceremonies often faced criticism for their lack of diversity and their focus on white, male filmmakers and actors. But in recent years, the Academy has made strides to reflect a broader spectrum of voices, introducing new categories and embracing a more inclusive approach to nominations and winners. While challenges and criticisms still persist, the Oscars remain a powerful force, honoring not only timeless masterpieces but also the bold new voices shaping the future of cinema.

The 97th Academy Awards, honoring the best films of 2024,

will take place at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood on Sunday, March 2, 2025. The night promises to celebrate some of the most remarkable achievements in filmmaking, with nominees vying for accolades in categories such as Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Adapted Screenplay, among others. Among the films generating buzz for their outstanding performances and storytelling are The Substance, Beyond the Horizon, Echoes of the Past, and Whispers in the Dark, each vying for the top honor in Best Picture. In the acting categories, powerhouse performances from Jessica Harris in The Substance, Daniel Ford in Beyond the Horizon, and Lena Bishop in Whispers in the Dark are drawing attention.

Get ready for an unforgettable evening, where Hollywood’s brightest stars will gather to celebrate the year’s most outstanding cinematic achievements. With red carpet moments, emotional speeches, and fierce competition, the 97th Academy Awards promises to dazzle, inspire, and captivate audiences around the globe, continuing its legacy as the ultimate night for movie lovers and creators alike.

97th ACADEMY AWARDS

A Night of Triumph, Controversy, and Change

The 97th Academy Awards, held on March 2, 2025, at the iconic Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, was a night filled with groundbreaking wins, heartfelt speeches, and moments of both celebration and controversy. Hosted by late-night legend Conan O’Brien, the ceremony blended humor with deep reflection, making it one of the most talked-about Oscars in recent years.

“Anora” Dominates the Night

One of the biggest surprises of the evening was the dominance of Anora, an independent drama directed by Sean Baker. The film, a raw and poignant exploration of a young woman’s struggle for survival in modern America, took home five Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Film Editing, and Best Actress for Mikey Madison’s breathtaking performance. Baker, known for his ability to capture the humanity of marginalized communities, used his acceptance speech to emphasize the importance of independent filmmaking and authentic storytelling.

Historic Wins & Emotional Speeches

Adrien Brody delivered a powerful comeback, winning Best Actor for The Brutalist, marking his second Oscar in over two decades. Brody, who first won in 2003 for The Pianist, choked up as he reflected on his long journey in Hollywood, thanking those who continued to believe in his craft.

Kieran Culkin, winning Best Supporting Actor for A Real Pain, brought the audience to tears with a moving tribute to his co-star Jesse Eisenberg and the film’s themes of grief and brotherhood. His speech, filled with humility and gratitude, solidified his place as one of Hollywood’s most respected performers.

However, one of the more controversial wins of the evening came in the Best Supporting Actress category, where Zoë Saldaña took home the award for Emilia Pérez. While her performance was widely praised, the film itself sparked debate over its depiction of Mexican and transgender communities. In a moment that caught many off guard, a reporter challenged Saldaña on the film’s portrayal of certain themes during the post-award press conference. The actress, clearly emotional,

apologized to those who felt misrepresented, stating that the film’s intent was never to harm but rather to highlight the struggles faced by women around the world.

Conan O’Brien’s Hosting Brings Humor & Honesty

Conan O’Brien’s return as host injected much-needed comedic relief into the night. His monologue poked fun at Hollywood’s tendency for self-congratulation while also addressing some of the industry’s larger issues. With sharp wit, he made lighthearted jabs at the lengthy runtime of the ceremony, the ever-growing presence of AI in filmmaking, and even the chaotic nature of live awards shows.

But it wasn’t all jokes—O’Brien also took a moment to acknowledge the ongoing struggles in the world, including support for Ukraine, humanitarian crises, and the impact of recent wildfires in California. His ability to balance humor with sincerity was met with overwhelming praise, making him a fan-favorite host.

A Night of Fashion and Viral Moments

Beyond the awards, the red carpet was filled with dazzling fashion statements, some of which quickly became viral moments. While some stars opted for classic Hollywood elegance, others pushed the boundaries of avant-garde fashion. One unexpected headline-grabber was Adam Sandler, who attended in his signature casual attire—baggy shorts and a hoodie— creating an internet sensation. The actor, known for his comedic roles, shrugged off the attention, joking that he “didn’t get the memo” about the dress code.

The Future of the Oscars

The 97th Academy Awards highlighted the evolving landscape of cinema, showcasing a mix of independent and mainstream films, diverse storytelling, and socially conscious filmmaking. The night also emphasized the importance of honest representation in storytelling, sparking ongoing discussions about Hollywood’s responsibility in depicting different cultures and identities.

While Anora and its cast walked away as the biggest winners, the ceremony itself will be remembered for its blend of triumph, introspection, and a reminder that the film industry continues to evolve. With more independent voices breaking through and the spotlight on more diverse stories, the future of cinema looks both promising and unpredictable.

As the credits rolled on another Oscars night, one thing was clear—Hollywood is changing, and the conversation about what stories are told, and who gets to tell them, is far from over.

SWING FOR THE FENCES

Elton John & Brandi Carlile’s Uplifting New Anthem

Elton John and Brandi Carlile have joined forces to release their brand-new single, “Swing For The Fences.” This electrifying rock ‘n’ roll anthem is a bold declaration of resilience and self-empowerment, especially for LGBTQ+ youth. Carlile describes the song as an invitation to live boldly and unapologetically: “Go, go! Don’t let anything hold you back!”

This track is a glimpse into their highly anticipated collaborative album, Who Believes In Angels?, set for release on April 4th via Interscope Records. Conceived alongside Grammy-winning producer Andrew Watt, the album was recorded from scratch in just 20 days at LA’s Sunset Sound Studios, featuring an all-star lineup of musicians, including Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Pino Palladino (Nine Inch Nails).

For the first time, Elton allowed cameras to capture the entire recording process, documenting the album’s emotional highs and challenges. The result? A genre-blending masterpiece featuring rock, ballads, Americana, and psychedelic synth influences—one of the most dynamic works of Elton’s career.

The project has already garnered worldwide attention with the release of the title track, “Who Believes In Angels?” and the Oscar-nominated “Never Too Late,” written for the Disney+ documentary on Elton’s life.

Fans can also look forward to a one-night-only sold-out event, “An Evening With Elton John & Brandi Carlile,” at London’s Palladium on March 26, 2025.

With Who Believes In Angels?, Elton John and Brandi Carlile have created a powerful, genre-defying record that stands as a testament to artistic evolution, resilience, and pure musical magic. Listen to now and pre-order the album today!

Sheralene Shirata

Hollywood Weekly Magazine had the privilege of sitting down with the inspiring Sheralene Shirata for an exclusive interview. A woman of many talents and passions, Sheralene has dedicated her life to empowering others, promoting environmental sustainability, and leaving a lasting impact on the world. From her remarkable journey as a beauty queen to her entrepreneurial ventures and philanthropic work, Sheralene shares her insights, experiences, and vision for the future. In this cover story, she opens up about her motivations, achievements, and the legacy she hopes to create.

1). Tell us about yourself.

Shirata: My name is Sheralene Shirata, and I am 45 years old. I am a mother to my wonderful son, Ruzzel, who is now 25 years old. While I am single, I am in a ful filling relationship. My journey has been one of passion, hard work, and purpose. I wear many hats—photographer, entrepreneur, philanthropist, model, and National Director of the Noble Queen of the Universe Philippines. I am also a beauty queen, a title that holds deep meaning for me as it aligns with my mission to empower and uplift others.

2). What or who made you join beauty pageants?

Shirata: Since childhood, I have always dreamt of being a model. This aspiration stayed with me throughout my life. Years later, my two close friends, John Guarnes and Bench Bello, convinced me to join a pageant—but not just any pageant, one with a purpose. They introduced me to Patricia Javier, the International Director of the Noble Queen of the Universe at that time. That introduction led me to participate in the 2022 Noble Queen of the Universe Philippines Pageant, an experience that profoundly shaped my journey.

3). What are your duties and responsibilities as Noble Queen Earth?

Shirata: As a Noble Queen of the Universe Earth, my responsibilities extend beyond just holding a title. My mission is to protect the environment, combat climate change, and support initiatives organized by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). In addition, I am deeply committed to empowering women and supporting young dreamers as they navigate their paths to success. Through advocacy-driven actions and hands-on projects, I strive to make a tangible impact on the lives of those in need.

4). What is Noble Queen about? Who are the notable alumni? When is the next edition?

Shirata: The Noble Queen of the Universe is not your typical beauty pageant. It is an advocacy-based platform that values charity and community service above all else. What sets it apart is its inclusivity—we welcome women from all walks of life, whether married, divorced, widowed, or single mothers.

Among our distinguished alumni are Patricia Javier, crowned Noble Queen of the Universe in 2019, and Christina Gonzales, who won the title in 2022. The upcoming 2024 edition of the Noble Queen of the Universe Philippines is set for July, with the international crowning ceremony scheduled for December 2024. The search for the next generation of Noble Queens is already underway!

5). Explain your passion for philanthropy.

Shirata: My life’s mission is centered around giving back. Altruism is the core of my being—I find true fulfillment in extending a helping hand without expecting anything in return. My philanthropic efforts include:

• Philippines Eagles (Community Service Head PDEEC): Organizing meal distributions to underprivileged communities alongside dedicated volunteers.

• Outreach Program (Antipolo Kabataang May Magagawa): Providing school supplies and hygiene kits to students in need.

• Personal Feeding Program: During the pandemic, I collected groceries and personally distributed food to individuals in need across Angeles City, Pampanga.

• Correctional Institute for Women: Through Noble Queen of the Universe initiatives, I have engaged in activities such as tree planting, delivering hygiene kits, painting sessions, and donating school supplies to incarcerated women in Mandaluyong and Santa Rosa.

• Community Aid in Paete, Laguna: After receiving an award from the city mayor, I felt compelled to give back to my hometown through grocery distributions.

These are just a few of the many charitable projects I am actively involved in.

6). What sparked your interest in fashion?

Shirata: Fashion has been a lifelong passion of mine. Even as a child, I was a “fashionista” known for my unique style. My natural ability to mix and match colors and patterns allowed me to create eye-catching looks, a skill that later fueled my interest in modeling and design. Today, my love for fashion remains as strong as ever, and I continue to explore new trends and creative expressions.

7). Elaborate on the Sheralene Collections.

ALLISON SKY

A Fashion Leader Making Bold Strides in Contemporary Fashion from the Eyes of a Visionary

Allison Sky is a contemporary fashion designer who has carved her own path in the fashion world built on her unique vision in handcrafting her works. From learning how to sew clothing at a young age to her arrival at Fashion Week, Allison’s journey to success is a statement of her courage to believe and her precision to deliver the best in contemporary and progressive fashion.

From her childhood forward, fashion has always been a part of Allison Sky’s life. As a child, she spent a great deal of time watching her mother put outfits together as a fashion designer. Allison’s early exposure to fashion inspired her to explore it. It was time spent in her mom’s sewing room that birthed her inner gifts. Her mom’s sewing room soon became the perfect space to nurture the creativity inside of her spirit. In an interview with Hollywood Weekly, Allison shared, “I’d spend hours with my mom in the fabric district looking at rolls of different fabrics. I learned that fashion isn’t just about clothes—it’s about telling stories and expressing yourself.”

After Allison learned to sew at a young age, she was determined to create her own fashion. Her learning process was instinctual in its pure essence of self-discovery. She had to first learn to understand her method of creating fashion that came from within. So began her journey in

handcrafting beautiful and original fashion pieces like none other. When it comes to designing outfits, it is not a calculated approach for Allison Sky. It is inspirational for Allison. Her creative flow first starts with her vision for an outfit. In moments of inspiration, she finds herself working from that vision that comes to her spontaneously in moments of pure creative flow. It is in these moments that she learned over time to embrace the gift...and she began to understand the power of creativity as being beyond her control but rather learning to identify it and embrace it when the vision comes. Each of her fashion wear is reflective of those powerful moments of creative vision in the fashion eye of Allison Sky. Honing her craft in her creative space, she soon became ready to present her fashion to the world.

Though Allison grew up outside the buzz of Hollywood, she always dreamed of walking runways and designing for the stars. She found herself visiting fashion shops in Hollywood and dreaming of one day being a part of the fashion industry. Even though it felt out of her reach, she continued to sew, design, and dream.

That dream became reality when she finally stepped into For The Stars Fashion House and met a man named Rich. Through their conversations about the fashion industry, Allison discovered that fashion was not just a dream It was her

destiny and part of her purpose as a creative force. It was soon after that time that Allison was invited to walk the runway at Los Angeles Fashion Week. “That moment, seeing my dream come to life in front of my family, was when I realized this was more than just a passion—it was my purpose,” she says.

Allison’s brand, Boho Boujiee, reflects her love for blending eclectic styles to create something new. “I draw a lot of my inspiration from travel and the different cultures I experience,” she shares. “Whether it’s crystals, feathers, or denim, I’m always looking for unique materials that stand out.”

Her designs range from bikinis to gowns, but they all carry her unmistakable edge. “You’ll always know it’s Boho Boujiee—the crystals, sequins, and signature style are what make it stand out,” she says.

Allison has reached some major milestones, including having her designs showcased at Enrique Iglesias’ Madison Square Garden show. “Seeing my pieces on such a huge stage was surreal,” she says. Another unforgettable moment was when her first bikini collection debuted at Miami Swim Week. “That was a big moment for me. Walking into that runway show and seeing my designs on display was everything I’d hoped for.”

In a fast-paced industry, Allison has stayed true to what makes Boho Boujiee unique. As a designer she makes it a point to not follow trends. She instead creates new fashion trends. In looking at her designs, there is a distinct appeal of Boho Boujiee as each piece represents her signature statement with a boldness in fashion ambience. From sequined bikinis to custom denim pieces, her fashion wear carry her exciting and creative personal touch.

As sustainability becomes a bigger conversation in fashion, Allison is committed to eco-conscious designing. She is more concerned with quality than quantity her fashion wear. She is committed to creating pieces that last using sturdy denim, which only improves with time. She leaves no fabric to go to waste. With leftover fabrics, she often finds herself blending them with vintage fabrics, keeping her designs sustainable while being mindful not to allow any fabric to go to waste. With Allison’s fashion instincts in motion, the result is always a new, creative, standout design.

Although fashion can be a high-pressure industry, Allison has established her position as a fashion leader poised to rise to the occasion. One of her most memorable moments came during Miami Fashion Week when she was asked to create 15 pieces with little time to spare. When the models who were assigned to her fashionwear arrived, they expressed their excitement about walking for Boho Boujiee. As a result, the presentation of her fashion wear was a major success on Miami Fashion Week.

Looking ahead, Allison sees fashion design evolving and becoming more digital. As technology advances with the expansion of AI and virtual shopping experiences, she sees that fashion design is destined toward a more technology-driven industry in the future. This will include virtual fittings and virtual runway shows. Although this may be the future of fashion, Allison has already made her plan to continue to keep her personal touch on fashion design. continuing to use her gifts to design fashion wear and create each piece with her hands and creative ideas that come to mind for each outfit.

For those looking to break into fashion design, Allison shared the advice that she follows every day. She expressed that it is important to network in the industry, show one’s designer wear as you to meet new people, and explore possibilities for new connections.

Allison Sky’s continued successful journey in fashion is refreshing, inspiring, and a statement of her commitment to share her gifts with the world. It also is a testament that a dream is attainable with passion, perseverance, and commitment. With her bold, boho-inspired designs and commitment to her craft, Allison is the fashion designer we need in today’s fashion industry. A force who can take fashion forward as a fashion leader. As a creative, we look forward to seeing more of her dynamic fashion wear creating trends as today’s new contemporary fashion while paving the way to the future of fashion.

Thousands of teens in foster care are waiting for the love and support from a family, but unfortunately almost 20,000 young people leave foster care without a family every year. This successful campaign has contributed to the more than 1,000,000 children and youth that have been adopted from the U.S. foster care system since 2004.
