Seapass Account Hold Charge
You may notice a temporary hold on the credit card your SeaPass card is linked to. The hold is used to secure funds for anticipated onboard purchases and will be released after the end of the sailing once your final charges are settled.

Guests may request and sign out Assistive Listening Systems (ALS) or Assistive Listening Devices (ALD) available at the Guest Service desk.
Smoking
All Royal Caribbean ships are non –smoking (including e –cigarettes) except for designated areas in the Casino (for active players only while playing) and the specified area on the open decks. Please be sure to properly dispose of cigarettes, cigars, and pipe tobacco.

Port Information
On our call in Santorini, the Explorer of the Seas will provide tendering service to transfer guests from ship to the bottom of the Caldera Cliffs in Fira, with local boats running approximately every 30 minutes. Please refer to the Tender Information Letter for detailed information on tendering process.
There are three ways to reach the top of the cliff which is approximately 260 meters above sea level:
1) By cable car, 2) Mule ride or 3) Tough hike up 600 steps (following the same path as the mules).
Safety Note: It is highly recommended for our guests to use the cable car service as mule rides are a safety concerns and please be mindful of steep slippery steps should you decide to take the steps.
The cable car ride has a cost of approximately €20 euros one way per person. Waiting times at the cable car station and at the pier to board the tenders depend on the volume of guests returning at the same time and might take up to one hour.

Port of Oia which is famous for the amazing views is located on the other side of the island. Taxis and public transportation are available within approximately 20 minutes of walk from the cable car drop off pint. Shops and restaurants are plentiful as soon as you exit the cable car. Streets are small with limited space and slippery floors.
Bus Transfer to Fira
Skip the lines in Santorini by purchasing the Fira Transfer and enjoy exclusive departure from the ship. The transfer service includes a tender boat ride to the port of Athinios and a bus transfer from Athinios to Fira town parking area. For further details, please refer to the Royal Caribbean App or visit the Shore Excursions Desk on Deck 5.
Places of Interest: Oia, Firostefani and Imerovigli. Beach destinations: Kamari, Perissa, Perivolos, Vilhada and Monilithos are great option.
Mykonos Cruise Terminal is located at Tourlos which is about 40 minutes walking distance from the old town. Please note there is no designated pedestrian sidewalk on this route.
Sea bus service is available that takes you to the heart of the old town managed by local boat operators. Tickets must be purchased directly at the port, €5 euros round trip (payable only with cash). The sea bus starts at approximately 8:00 am and is 15 minutes ride with couple of stops before reaching the port. The taxi ride to the center is about 10 minutes.

Piraeus (Athens), Greece
Split, Croatia
Explorer of the Seas will dock at Piraeus cruise port. Athens city center is approximately 30 mins drive from the port. Taxis are available from the port gate. The city is still dominated by 5th-century BC landmarks, including the Acropolis, a hilltop citadel topped with ancient buildings like the colonnaded Parthenon temple.

In Split, cruise ships dock right at the foot of the Old Town. Downtown is with-in 10 minutes of walking distance. The city is best known for the ruins of the Palace of Diocletian. Collectively with the historic royal residences, fortifications, and churches in the city, the palace was designated as UNESCO World Heritage site in 1979.

Important Information Tender Procedures
On our call in Santorini, the Explorer of the Seas will provide tendering service to transfer guests from ship to shore, with local boats running approximately every 30 minutes . Tendering will commence once the ship has been cleared by the local authorities at approximately 1:30 pm in Santorini, although we always aim to commence at the earliest opportunity after arrival. Please keep in mind that the port authorities in Fira may request to moderate the flow of tenders going ashore or pause the tendering process whenever they deem necessary. We appreciate your understanding as your safety is always our priority.
Complimentary tender tickets will be available from the venues listed below on July 28 th, 2025, in Santorini:
Star Lounge, Deck 5, fwd, 9:00 am to 11:00 am
Guests on Royal Caribbean Shore Excursions are not required to collect a tender ticket, your tour ticket will confirm meeting time and location. All other guests, including guests on private tours, will require a tender ticket to proceed ashore. We kindly ask just one person to collect tender tickets for all party/family members travelling together. Tender tickets are issued in sequential order only and there is no transfer time attached to any tender ticket number. Following tender ticket collection, please make yourself comfortable in one of the public areas on Deck 5 or above. Updates on the tendering progress will be made via the public address system. Public announcements will not be made into guest staterooms.
When your tender ticket number is called, please proceed to the Main Dining Room located on Deck 4, Midship. Please have your tender ticket and SeaPass card in hand available for the crew members, who will direct you to the next available tender boat. Please also ensure you carry a photo ID (original or copy) with you.
Your tender ticket is only valid for the time your ticket number is called; therefore, please be ready to proceed ashore once your tender ticket number is called. It is very important to note that in the event of maritime traffic, heightened sea conditions or swells, the tendering process can take longer. We aim to transfer all guests from ship to shore as safely and efficiently as possible, Guest safety is our number one priority. Announcements with updates will be made during the tendering process.
Tender tickets are not required to return to the ship. Waiting times at the cable car and at the pier to board the tender depend on the volume of guests returning at the same time and might take up to one hour.

Wheelchairs & Mobility Scooters
To safely board the tenders, guests must be able to take steps and use a collapsible manual wheelchair. In addition, motorized wheelchairs and mobility scooters cannot be taken on tenders, unless roll-on is available. Guests who are unable to take a few steps on stairs or walk across from the tender platform to and from the tender are unable to go ashore. Your safety remains our priority.
Skip the Line in Santorini
Take the Fira Transfer and enjoy exclusive departure from the ship. Transfer service includes a tender boat ride to the port of Athinios and a bus transfer from Athinios to Fira town parking area. Please note, the transfer is not guided, and no commentary is available onboard. Transfer service has a set departure times from the ship. Estimated bus ride from Athinios to Fira is 30 minutes each way. For further details, please refer to the Royal Caribbean App or visit the Shore Excursions Desk on Deck 5.
ONBOARD EXPENSE ACCOUNT
Setting Up Your Account
If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so in the Royal App or at the Guest Services Desk on Deck 5. Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a credit card, a debit card, or cash. Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Please note that a temporary hold of $99 75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 3 to 5 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank. You may add other guests to your expense account by visiting the Guest Services desk. A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. All charges can be viewed in the Royal Caribbean App. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase, and a preliminary statement will be delivered to your stateroom on the 2nd last night of your cruise. A final statement will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of departing the ship on the last day of your cruise. Guests on a cash account will need to settle their account at Guest Services prior to disembarking the ship.

Specialty Dining Reservations
Specialty Dining reservations can be made through the Royal Caribbean App. You may also dial 7000 on your stateroom phone and select the restaurant you wish to dine in or visit the restaurant and make a reservation with the Maitre d' outside. The Maitre d' can also assist you with making changes to your seating.
Room Service
Continental breakfast is complimentary. Both the All-Day Menu and American Breakfast will have a delivery fee of $7.95 plus an 18% gratuity for each order. To view the menu, visit the Royal App or browse on the TV in your stateroom. When you’re ready to order, dial 7000 from your stateroom phone.

GRATUITIES
How much are gratuities?
If not already pre-paid, a $18.00 gratuity ($20.50 for Suite guests) is added to each guest's onboard account daily to help recognize superior service from crew during your cruise. This gratuity is shared among dining & culinary services staff, stateroom attendants, and other hotel services teams working behind the scenes. In addition to daily gratuities, an 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverage, mini bar items, specialty dining, and spa & salon purchases.
