Hikvision South Africa Free Swap-Out After-sales Service
1. Policy description
Starting from 1 July 2023, a "Free Swap Out” after-sales service will be provided for certain CCTV products of Hikvision. This means that if a Hikvision product within the "Free Swap Out" scope is purchased after 1 July 2023 and is still within the warranty period, clients should search for the closest Hikvision authorized Swap-Out sites and deliver the faulty unit for evaluation and the corresponding replacement to confirm that it meets the criteria.

2.1 Product range:

IP Cameras: 1 Series and 2 Series
NVR/DVR: 71 series NVR, HG series DVR
2.2 Time limit explanation
Explanation of the "time limit" for enjoying the "Free Swap Out" products:
a. Products within the "product range" purchased after 1 July 2023 are eligible for this policy.
b. The aforementioned products within the warranty period are eligible for this policy.

24-month warranty
2.4 Replacement scope of replacing the complete unit policy
a. Under normal installation, use and maintenance conditions, the aforementioned products that experience hardware performance failures due to material, process or manufacturing issues are
eligible for the "Free Swap Out" service.
b. The following cases are not covered by this policy: normal functioning during testing, issues resolved through software upgrades, improper use by humans (such as dropping, scratching, label damage, wire cutting, surge damage, etc.), force majeure events (such as earthquakes, lightning strikes), intentional human damage and other similar situations.
c. This "Free Swap Out" policy applies only to products sold in South Africa.
