Why not discuss what you think about this question at home? Should musicians share their political opinions?
THIS WEEK’S BIG READ: GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL
Glastonbury is a huge music festival that happens in June at Worthy Farm in Somerset. It lasts for five days and more than 200,000 people attend - most of them camping out in tents. Lots of volunteers help run the festival, and because of that, a lot of the profits from the tickets (which cost £373.50 this year) go to charity.
Glastonbury is famous for its unpredictable weather and muddy fields, but many people would argue that this is all part of the fun. In 2025, the festival featured an exciting mix of headline acts, with The 1975, Olivia Rodrigo and Charli XCX taking centre stage. In 2026, Glastonbury will take a planned break to let the farmland recover!
COMPREHENSION CHALLENGE
