We specialize in selling cabins designed for short-term rentals and providing a platform, similar to Airbnb but exclusively for Hideout outposts, to facilitate the booking of these cabins. Our model supports rapid scaling by allowing individual owners to manage their properties under the Hideout brand, creating a unified experience across various locations Our company's offerings include two main cabin models: the Escapist (aimed at couples) and the Nomad (designed for families).
Additionally, Hideout provides compelling financing options to make cabin purchases more accessible to landowners, alongside marketing and operational support to ensure the success of each glamping site
Hideout was co-founded by Clay and Pao Kohut, who combined their diverse backgrounds in architecture and software engineering to create a unique business in the glamping and short-term rental industry.
Inspired by a vision of decentralized glamping resorts, they leveraged their skills and raised funding from notable investors, including the co-founder of Casper Mattresses and early investors in Airbnb. This funding and their expertise fueled the development of Hideout House, focusing on selling custom cabins and providing a specialized platform for property bookings.
