MESSAGE FROM THE HOA

DEAR DEL WEBB NAPLES RESIDENTS,

Happy August to you all! We are over halfway through the year with many activities and property work happening throughout the community. Below are your Del Webb Naples August Property Updates and Reminders:

Golf Cart, Vehicle and Pedestrian Safety: As the community grows we want to make sure everyone is aware of our golf cart policies. Please remember all golf carts need to be registered with us and the Master Association and need to list Pulte, Hampton Golf and Del Webb Naples Community Association as additionally insured with limits of at least $300,000 for our records and must be renewed annually. Additionally, Ave Maria Stewardship District, Ave Maria Master Association, Ave Maria Development LLP and Ave Maria University must be additionally insured as shown on page 7 in the Ave Maria Stewardship District Golf Cart handbook. For the complete Del Webb Naples golf cart policy and Ave Maria’s Stewardship Golf Cart hand book please click here and here.

Please remember to stop at all stop signs in the community and obey all rules of the road including not to speed as we have had some reports of speeding lately. Remember all streets in Del Webb Naples gates are 25ph and 35 mph on Anthem. Parking lots and coming into the Oasis Club is 15mph. As a reminder do not walk on the golf course cart path as this is not permitted and is dangerous. The golf course cart paths are just for the golfers.

Additionally, please remember it is not permitted to park golf carts next to the tennis, pickleball courts or other amenities on the sidewalks as it can be a safety concern and could cause pedestrians to walk off the road onto incoming traffic and we don’t want anyone getting hurt.

New Liberty Street Final Lifts Paving: This was done at the end of July and is turned out very nicely. Thank you for your patience with this.

If you see something, say something: Please let us know if you ever see a safety concern we can address. No one spends more time in this community than you do, and we want everyone to be as safe as possible. Please never confront someone you don’t think belongs in Del Webb Naples, but please let us know instead.

An Important Note On Driveway Pavers: Please Note: In Article V Maintenance Section 3 of our Declaration it states “...Del Webb Naples Owner Of Parcels fronting on any roadway within Del Webb Naples shall maintain driveways serving their respective Parcels...”

We are evaluating driveway pavers that or sunken and raised in the community currently

to see which ones need to be fixed as they could be a trip hazard for you and your neighbor.

Please inspect your own driveways as soon as possible and arrange for any of them to be fixed that are needed. We will be creating a list over the next few weeks and letting individual homeowners know the ones that need to have them addressed. Thank you for getting these fixed and helping keep the community safe.

Alligator Safety Notice: If you ever see an alligator that you think is a nuisance, please call our office at (239) 455-2001, and we will ask our local licensed alligator trapper to come and evaluate the situation.

We want to remind you that feeding alligators is illegal and will only make them more dangerous to you and your fellow Residents! Anyone feeding gators is putting everyone at risk. Please report it to our offices if you witness anyone feeding them. We don’t want anyone getting hurt and want to remind you never to feed or harass alligators and never feed other wildlife. You can be arrested for feeding and harassing alligators. As a reminder, fishing in the community is also prohibited.

Please keep a safe distance from alligators and do not go near the water’s edge, walk your pets near it, or allow them to go near it. Additionally, it is not uncommon for alligators to travel from pond to pond, so you must always be aware of your surroundings regardless of where you are in the community. We are blessed to live in the beautiful southwest Florida community, and we can enjoy all of our wildlife in safe ways.

Please keep garages closed during the day, as alligators, snakes, or other wildlife can enter them. For more tips and information on living with alligators, please click here, here and here.

Sod Delay: We have had some sod delays due to flooding in the fields. Juniper is working through the ones affected by the drought first before working on the replacement list for June and July. Thank you for your patience and understanding with this.

Bellera Front Entrance Fountain: Please know we are diagnosing the issue and we will let you know as soon as we have an update for when this is fixed. Thank you for your patience with this.

Bellera Wall: We are working on fixing the small portion of the damaged Bellera wall as soon as possible. Thanks to all who have let us know about it.

Grand Hall Updated Times: The Grand Hall and Golf Simulator is now open at 7am going forward.

Steam Room Now Working: The steam room is now back up and running. Thank you for your patience with this as we were awaiting the final part.

LIFESTYLE & EVENTS

LIFESTYLE & EVENTS

Summer is almost over, but the fun has just begun!

Let’s take a look back at all the great memories and events we enjoyed throughout July. From music and art to tasty tacos and town halls, our community stayed lively and connected all month long.

Here’s a quick recap of the highlights—get ready to smile and maybe get inspired to join in next time!

TUESDAY, JULY 1 – WINE GLASS PAINTING:

Creativity was in full bloom as residents gathered in the Grand Hall for a delightful wine glass painting class! Guided by a talented instructor, participants were supplied with everything needed to turn an ordinary glass into a beachy masterpiece—complete with serene ocean waves and swaying palm trees.

To keep the inspiration flowing, Del Webb treated everyone to a refreshing glass of red or white wine. Cheers to art, community, and a touch of tropical flair!

MONDAY, JULY 7 – PIZZA & A MOVIE:

Residents came together for a classic combo: hot, delicious pizza and a fantastic movie night! Laughter, good food, and great company filled the room as everyone settled in for an evening of relaxation and entertainment. It was the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the summer vibes with neighbors and friends.

FRIDAY,

JULY 11 – NATIONAL SUNDAE DAY:

A large crowd of residents gathered to celebrate National Sundae Day in the most delicious way possible! Everyone had the chance to build their dream dessert, choosing from classic ice cream flavors like vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and Neapolitan. The toppings bar did not disappoint—with M&Ms, sprinkles, chocolate, and strawberry syrups, and of course, the iconic cherry on top! The afternoon was filled with sweet treats, laughter, and lively conversation—proving once again that everything’s better with ice cream.

SATURDAY, JULY 12 – BOCCE CLUB MUSIC BINGO:

The Del Webb Naples Bocce Club turned up the volume with a lively Music Bingo Night! Club members and guests gathered for an evening filled with classic hits, laughter, and just the right touch of friendly competition. Instead of numbers, bingo cards were filled with song titles—prompting singalongs, toe-tapping, and plenty of nostalgia as players raced to call out “Bingo!” BIG shoutout to our amazing Bocce Club Board Members for keeping the fun going all year long! Their dedication and energy make events like this possible!

WEDNESDAY, JULY 16

– WATERCOLOR CLASS WITH LINDA BACHOFNER:

A talented group of Del Webb Naples residents gathered for the monthly Resident-Led Watercolor Class—a favorite among our creative community! Led by the wonderfully skilled and encouraging Linda Bachofner, this class offers a welcoming space for artists of all levels. Linda provides each attendee with all the materials needed and walks everyone through the painting process with her step-by-step, professional guidance. Thanks to Linda’s artistic instruction and supportive teaching style, every participant left the class with a beautiful watercolor masterpiece and a smile! Whether you’re a seasoned painter or just curious to try something new, this monthly class is a perfect way to relax, explore your creativity, and connect with neighbors. Keep an eye out for next month’s session— you won’t want to miss it!

FRIDAY,

JULY 18

– COFFEE WITH CAM – JUNIPER TOWNHALL:

Del Webb residents gathered in the Grand Hall for a Juniper Townhall Meeting—an open forum where residents can ask questions and voice concerns about lawn care, irrigation, and overall landscape maintenance. These meetings offer a valuable opportunity for transparent communication between the community and Juniper, helping to ensure our beautiful neighborhood stays well-maintained and that resident feedback is heard. To make the morning even better, Del Webb provided coffee and goodies from Dunkin’ Donuts, adding a sweet touch to a productive and informative event.

TUESDAY, JULY 22 – TACO TUESDAY:

Del Webb residents came together to enjoy a tasty treat—tacos from Taco Tummy, a local gem located in Ave Maria!

Guests savored an array of all the best toppings, along with homemade guacamole and chips, plus a rich and creamy white queso that had everyone coming back for more. It was a night full of great flavors, good company, and plenty of taco love!

Thanks to Taco Tummy for bringing their delicious flavors to our community and to everyone who joined the fun!
