DESCRIPTION OF THE FUNCTIONS OF THE LINE CONTACTORS K1 - K2 - K3 - K4 LINE CONTACTOR CLOSURE Arm the emergency switch “SW2 BATT.DISC.”, position the key switch “SW1 KEYSWITCH” on the sign 1 (ON), all the line contactors close contemporarily K1 LINE CONTACTOR The coil is powered with negative B- directly from the battery, positive B+ 48/80V from the main switch (SW2).

The output power cables are two: - one cable section 6 is used to power the “EPS-AC” controller - one cable section 75 goes to the power controller on line contactor K2 K2 LINE CONTACTOR The coil is powered with negative B- directly from “AC2 TRAZ.” output “8F”, positive B+ 48/80V from the main switch (SW2).

The output power cable is used to power controllers “AC2 T - AC2 P1 - AC2 P2”.

K3 LINE CONTACTOR The coil is powered with negative B- directly from the battery, positive B+ 48/80V from the key switch (SW1).

The output power cables are two: - one wire section 2,5 is used to power the DC-DC converter 48/80V. - branch for fuse “FUSE 9” K4 LINE CONTACTOR The coil is powered with negative B- directly from “MHYRIO2.” output “2F”, positive B+ 24V directly from the converter.

The output power cable is used to power the B+ 24V auxiliary branch.

GENERAL LINE CONTACTOR APERTURE a) Position the key swith (SW!) on position O (off) all the line contactors open. b) When the emergency switch (SW2) is pressed only line contactors K1 and K2 open, K3 and K4 remain closed. c) If there is a fault on controller “AC2 T.”, K2 opens and K1 remains closed, this allows the operator to use the steering and maintain the truck in driving position.
