4．DSS（down・Shiftswitch）Mechanism

TheDSSmechanismmakesdigglngeaSy．Whenthe DSSswitchispressedduringdiggingoperation，gearSare automaticallyshiftedintothelstgearposition，allowlng moreefficientandspeedierloadingoperation． TheDSS mechanismconsistsofthedown−Shiftswitch

incorporatedinto the boomlever knob，and the transmissioncontrolbox．

Whentheparkingbrakeisapplied，thepressureswitchisturnedOFF．Thetransmissionvalve sFSOLand RSOLarenotactivatedbyoperationofthetransmissioncontrolbox・Therefore，aSlongastheparking （emergency）brakeisinapplication，thetransmissionstaysneutral，SOthattheloaderwon tstarteveni Changeleverisoperated．（Thispreventstheloaderfromstartingwiththeparkingbrakeapplied．） （2）Workingwithinchingmechamism

Aproximityswitch（inchingswitch）isinstalledontheleftbrakepedallinkandwiredtothetransmission COntrOlbox・Whenthebrakepedalsarepressed，theproximltySwitchoperatestoputthetransmission neutralbyoperationofthetransmissioncontrolbox．Thisiscalledtheinchingmechanism． Theoperatorcanselectbetweennon−inchingandinchingofthebrakepedalsbyuslngtheclutchcut− Selectorswitch（inchingselectorswitch）intheoperator scompartment・
