223JPT24-23LHM TEMPAnalog input that varies with Load Handler motor temperature. Used by the TM to control cooling fan (Fan1) operation.
224JPT24-24BATTERY_ SENSE_IN B+ present when the battery is plugged in. It is supplied through a thermistor on the Fuse/Relay Card. This is used by the TM to determine the correct battery is installed. It accepts between 37.3 and 58.7V. If the correct battery is sensed, Relay_Enable is energized during Startup. After Startup, this voltage is used to determine BSOC.
225JPTA1-1B+K3 B+ present when K3 is energized. This is used to power the control circuits of the TPA.
226JPTA1-6TPC CONTACTOR Control path for the TPC. The TPA supplies a path for B– for the contactor by way of the B– terminal.
227JPTA1-7 T VEL SENSOR – B– for the Traction Motor Encoder (TME), Traction Motor Temperature (TMT) sensor, and TME cable shield.
Approx. 1V @ 75°F (24°C)
B+ (there should be no voltage drop)
Handler Motor Temp Sensor
TP1TM
228JPTA1-8T TEMP+Input from Traction Motor Temperature (TMT) sensor that varies with motor te mperature. Used by the TPA to adjust motor performance.
229JPTA1-12ID1B+ present at the TPA with K3 tips energized. It is used as an identifier to determine correct connection.
230JPTA1-13TPC SUPPLY (B+K3) B+ for the TPC contactor coil. The TPA supplies B+ to the TPC contactor coil.
231JPTA1-23BUS0+Positive component of the digital communications between the TPA, LPA, TM, and GM.
232JPTA1-26T VEL SENSOR +5V supply to the Traction Motor Encoder (TME). This voltage is produced by the TPA from B+K3.
233JPTA1-31T VEL PHASEAInput signal from the TME. It is a square wave that is either high (>3V) or low (<1V). The frequency varies directly with the speed of the Traction Motor. Identical to TVEL Phase B, except for phase. The TPA uses the relationship between phase A and B to determine travel speed and direction.
Energized: B+K3TPA
TPC De-energized: B+
Energized: 26.4V
Measure B+ at TP1 to verify connections. Then check for <0.5V wrt TP4.
