Hydrostatic Pump Swash Plates

Swash Plate Sensors

Swash plate sensors (X & Y, Fig. 494) on the hydrostatic pump sense the position of the swash plates in relation to the positions of the joysticks.

Travel Motor Gearbox Oil

Hydrostatic Drive Pump

A hydrostatic tandem pump assembly coupled to the engine drives two fixed-displacement hydrostatic drive motors. The motors move the tracks on both sides of the machine. The pumps and motors are controlled individually, allowing complete flexibility in forward, reverse, gradual, pivot and spin turns.

Test the swash plate sensor electronics using the electronics diagnostic tool (see “Electronics Diagnostic Kit” on page311).
