Lift Arm and ROPS/FOPS
Lift Arm Alignment Stops
Lift arm alignment stops (A, Fig. 168) guide and align the lift arm, and evenly transfer forces from the lift arm to the chassis
Tilt Stop Adjustment
Caution
Incorrectly configured tilt stops can lead to attachment hitch and/or tilt cylinder damage.
IMPORTANT: Adjustable tilt stops (V, Fig. 171), installed on some early machines, should be replaced with fixed tilt stops as described in this procedure. Adjustable tilt stops can move out of adjustment during machine use.
IMPORTANT: Improper alignment stop adjustment can result in lift arm damage.

Add or remove shims (B, Fig. 169) [Manitou part # 50300666] as necessary so the lift arms contacts both alignment stops (A) simultaneously when the lift arm is lowered.
1.Start the machine and raise the lift arm to allow full extension of the tilt cylinders (attachment hitch tilted fully forward).
2.Tilt/rotate the attachment hitch forward until the tilt cylinders are fully extended.
Warning
Secure the raised lift arm with a suitable supporting device. Do not allow anyone under the lift arm if it is not securely supported.
