Rear seats

The rear seats are separate and feature the same profile as the front seats, specifically designed to accommodate adult passengers The rear compartment space is divided by a fixed central armrest styled to contribute to the atmosphere of luxury and comfort characteristic of the interior as a whole

Two small lamps located under the rear side armrests illuminate when the doors are opened to light up the rear seats – a gesture of welcome to the occupants. Further signs of the attention paid to the rear passengers are the two cup-holders (equal to the front ones) and day compartment on the central tunnel which complete the set of onboard storage compartments.

The result is a level of comfort among the highest in the car’s class in terms of seating position and legroom. Once the occupants are seated, they do not find themselves in the cramped vertical posture typical of most competitors’ rear seats, but rather in a more relaxed, laid back position

Windstop

When driving with just one passenger, the occupants can enjoy the sound, performance and fluid handling of the Maserati GranCabrio in exceptional comfort thanks to the windstop (optional) developed specifically for the car

The style of the windstop, which is wind tunnel tested, reduces the flow of air inside the compartment when driving with the top down: with the windstop engaged, the air flow from the rear is reduced by 70% while the air speed inside the compartment is reduced by 50%

When the car has four occupants, the windstop can be stored in its bag This fits in the luggage compartment with a special retainer system to stop it moving around.

Please note that, if the windstop is stored inside the trunk, the spare wheel cannot be stored. For some markets the windstop comes as a standard item.

Luggage set

Maserati GranCabrio launches a new luggage set characterised by Maserati’s classic styling standards. The Maserati luggage set is available in 3 formats:

• Leather and fabric: for a more youthful, decisive style

• Plain leather: classic elegance

• Perforated and plain leather: the maximum in Maserati exclusiveness

The set is available in various colours depending on the type of set (Nero and Blu for leather/fabric and plain leather sets; Cuoio, Testa di Moro, Rosso Corallo plus one seasonal colour for the perforated/plain leather set)

The basic set is composed of:

• Men’s trolley case

• Women’s trolley case

• Men’s vanity case

• Women’s vanity case

The following complementary element is also available on product launch:

• Men’s bag: also designed to fit on the rear seats, in which case a leather seat cover is provided as an accessory.

Luggage straps

Rear seats can be used to safely secure luggage and other objects with a maximum weight of 10kg per seat; weights from 5 to 10 kg must be secured via the luggage straps
