Instrument cluster Instrument cluster Instrument cluster Instrument cluster
RPM Meter RPM RPM Meter RPM
This meter gives the number of revolution per minute of the engine. To arrive at the RPM value at any given point of time while the engine is in operation, multiply the pointer reading by 100.

Example : If the reading shows 15, The actual engine RPM value = 15 x 100 = 1500.
Hour Counter Hour Counter Hour Counter Hour Counter
The Hour counter is located in the RPM meter. It is operated by signal from alternator when the engine is running. Hour counter displays the cumulative engine running hours.
Fuel Gauge Fuel
The Fuel Gauge indicates quantity of fuel available in the fuel tank. The indication is divided into three stages Viz. Empty, Half and Full.

The RED zone of this gauge starts when the fuel level in the fuel tank reduces below 2.62 US gallon ( 9.93 lit )
Water Temperature Gauge Water Water
This gauge indicates coolant temperature of the engine.

When the pointer lies in RED band :
1. It indicates excessive engine coolant temperature.
2. Get the cause identified.
3. Further engine operation should be done only after elimination of the problem.
Engine Oil Pressure gauge Engine Oil Pressure gauge Engine
This gauge records the engine oil pressure while engine is operating.
When the pointer lies in RED band :
1. It indicates low engine oil pressure.
2. Get the cause identified.
3. Further engine operation should be done only after elimination of the problem.
Voltameter Voltameter Voltameter Voltameter
This gauge indicates the voltage level of the electric system there are 5 zones:
1. 10-12V red zone ,indicates the battery lacks power
2. 12-12.7V green zone ,indicates the battery in good condition
3. 12.7-13.5 yellow zone ,indicates the charging voltage is modulate two low by the generator regulator
4.13.5-14.5V green zone, indicates the charge system is in good condition
5.14.5-16V red zone ,indicates the charging voltage is modulated two high by the generator regulator
Turn Indicators Turn Indicators Turn Indicators Turn Indicators Indicators
L.H and R.H turn signal indicators are provided to indicate the direction of turning.
A blinking L.H turn signal indicator implies that the L.H.Turn Signal of tractor is ON whereas a blinking R.H turn indicator implies that the R.H.Turn Signal of tractor is ON.

Engine Pre-Heater Indicator

Engine Pre-Heater
It glows when the Engine Pre-Heater is put ON by turning the KEY in 3st position. while the engine Pre-Heater indicator is glowing.
High Beam Indicator
High Beam Indicator
High Beam Indicator
High Beam Indicator
It glows when head lamp switch is operated in high beam.
Plow Lamp Indicator Plow Lamp Indicator Plow Lamp Indicator
Plow Lamp Indicator Plow Lamp Indicator
It glows when the Plow Lamp is switched ON.
Neutral Indicator- Forward-Reverse Neutral Indicator- Forward-Reverse
It glows when the Forward-Reverse shuttle is in neutral position.
PTO Neutral Indicator PTO Neutral Indicator PTO Neutral Indicator PTO Neutral Indicator
It glows when PTO is engaged.
Brake Indicator Brake Indicator Brake Indicator Brake Indicator
It glows when Parking brake or Foot brake is applied.
Switches Switches Switches Switches Switches
Switches Switches Switches Switches
In addition to the Key Switch, 4 nos Piano type two-way switches are provided for various operations. Each Piano type switch performs two different functions.

High & Low Beam Switch High & Low Beam Switch High & Low Beam Switch High & Low Beam Switch
This two-way switch is located on scuttle under the Steering column.
When pressed in direction (c), operates the Low Beam. When pressed in direction (d), operates the High beam. This switch can operate only when the Key switch is in ON position.

Plow Lamp & Horn Switch Plow Lamp Plow Lamp & Horn Switch Plow Lamp
This two-way switch is located on scuttle under the Steering column.

When depressed in direction (a), operates the Plow lamp. When depressed in direction (b), operates the Horn. This switch can operate only when the Key switch is in ON position.

Key Switch
This is a Key operated 5-Way rotary switch located on LH side of Steering column. The direction of operation and positions are as follows:
When the key is turned to “ON”, voltmeter’s reading should be 12V H
When the key is switched to "H", the glow plugs begin to heat the engine, and the pre-heat indicator should be showing. Pre-heating should last for 20 seconds ~
Position 5: 5: Position5:Position5:
When the key is turned to "ST",the two neutral indicator should ST be on, and the starter is operated. When the key is released, it will automatically return to "ON", and the "Pre -heat" "Forward-Reverse" and "PTO" indicator will go out.
After starting, voltmeter's reading should be 13.5 14.5V, and hour meter should start going.
Note: Note: The Starting circuit is interconnected with transmission and PTO Neutral switches. Thus the Engine will not start unless the transmission and PTO is in neutral.
Switches Switches Switches Switches
LH & RH Turn signal Switch & Turn signal Switch LH & RH Turn signal Switch & Turn signal Switch Switch
This two-way switch is located on scuttle under the Steering column.
When pressed in direction (g), it operates the R.H Turn Signal Lamp.
When depressed in direction (h), it operates the R.H Turn Signal Lamp.
This switch can operate only when the Key switch is in ON position.

Position Lamp & Hazard Switch Lamp & Hazard Switch Switch
This two-way switch is located on scuttle under the Steering column.

When depressed in direction (e), it operates the Front and Rear Position Lamps.
When depressed in direction (f), it operates the Hazard Switch. The Hazard switch can be operated even if the Key Switch is in OFF position.
Fuse Box Box Fuse Box Box
The fuse box mounted on a bracket under the scuttle. The details of each fuse are as follows :
Fuse-1 Fuse-1
Current rating 30A for Main Power, Over Current / Safety
Fuse-2 Fuse-2

Current rating 5A for Regulator (Alternator)
Fuse-3
Current rating ) 15A for Others (Turning, Inst, Plow, Horn,Brake,)
