Important Decal

1. The backhoe bucket is capable of contacting this stabilizer and/or cylinder. Careful operation will avoid backhoe damage.

Damage to these components caused by operator is not covered under warranty.

4. Do not operate this backhoe unless it is rigidly attached to the tractor using the appropriate factory – provided mounting kit.

5. Improper transporting methods can cause serious damage to tractor.

6. Engage transport locking pins when transporting backhoe.

7. Travel slowly over rough terrain.

8. When transporting on truck or trailer, lower backhoe boom assembly so bucket rests firmly on bed. Apply restraints to tractor, not to backhoe or backhoe attaching kit.

9. Raised backhoe boom assembly, dipper assembly, and bucket can fall from hydraulic system failure. To avoid serious injury or death:

10. Block up or securely support backhoe boom assembly and dipper assembly before working underneath.

11. Do not use hand or skin to check for hydraulic leaks. Use cardboard or wood. Wear eye protection.

12. High pressure oil leaks can penetrate skin causing serious injury and gangrene. Consult a physician immediately.

13. Lower backhoe to ground and release hydraulic pressure before loosening fittings.

14. Refer to operator's manual for details.

To avoid serious injury or death:

15. Read operator's manual before using backhoe.

16. Operate backhoe controls only from normal backhoe operator's seat position.

17. Operate only with stabilizers down and on firm footing. Avoid digging in area of stabilizer pads. Stay clear of steep areas or excavation banks that could give way.

18. Check the operating area to be dug for any possible overhead or underground lines such as electrical, gas, oil, water, etc. Extreme caution must be exercised in areas where these are present. Consult local utilities before digging.

19. Keep bystanders away from maximum swing reach area and stabilizers.

20. Keep all guards in place.

21. Inspect backhoe daily for loosened, bent, or broken parts.

22. Engage transport locking pins before transporting or servicing backhoe.

23. Be sure tractor is weighted to provide at least 20% of total weight on front wheels with backhoe in transport position.

Safety Decal Locations

The safety of the operator was a prime consideration in the design of the backhoe. Proper shielding, convenient controls, simple adjustments, and other safety features have been built into this implement. The following decals are located on the backhoe. Keep decals clean and replace them immediately if they are missing. Contact your dealer or Mahindra for replacements.
