Coolant T emperature Gauge — Indicates the temperature the engine coolant. The normal operating temperature for MACK engines between 77°C and 107°C (170°F and 225°F). The driver will receive a warning coolant temperature reaches 223°F and engine shutdown will occur 227°F the engine coolant temperature shut down option enabled.

Caution

Coolant temperatur e must NOT exceed 107°C (225°F).

T achometer — Indicates engine speed revolutions per minute (RPM).

T achometer readings should used a guide for shifting, well prevent engine damage due overspeed. The blue band indicates the optimum range for engine brake operation.

Oil Pressure Gauge Indicates engine oil pressure. The normal operating oil pressure for a MACK engine (at governed speed) between 275.8 and 620.5 kPa (40 and psi). idling speed, the oil pressure should between 275.8 and 413.9 kPa (40 and psi).
